Career progressYear 1993- Year 1996 I worked with Parle beverages as Maintenance Executive reporting to factory manager to handle production line having Tetra- PAK machines Series TBA 10 packaging juice. Gained experience on homogenizers, carton forming machines, Tetrapak form fill seal machines, pasteurizer.Year 1996- year 1999 Worked with Borosil glass as Instrumentation Engineer reporting to Maintenance Manager to handle process automation for PYREX glass manufacturing plant. I have independently handled a project of installing a new glass drawing line. I have handled continuous process automation systems of YOKOGAWA /PID controllers & Allen Bradley PLC.Year 2000- I Joined Coca-Cola as Maintenance Officer at Wada plant reporting to Maintenance Manager . Job role included handling of Automation of Glass/PET lines/Hot fill Juice line & electrical maintenance of utilities. I have undergone a 15 days Siemens training on S7-300/S7-400 & S5 series PLC programming & 10 days training on Blowing machines of SIDEL facility at France. Year 2001 2002 Promoted to Maintenance Executive & made Maintenance in-charge of 185 BPM PET line. Implemented computerized maintenance program on the line/ inventory planning modules. Implemented several initiatives to improve the line efficiency from 55% to 80%Year 2003- 2004 Promoted as a Technical Manger to handle plant maintenance of three 600 BPM glass lines.Year 2005- Opted for a cross functional stint to head the logistics/Supply chain of a plant having 5 production lines. I was reporting to the logistics manager & was responsible for distribution activities at 4 warehouses in the Mumbai City. The value of the in-bound purchases was 60 MN rupees & had 125 SKUs. I was awarded as the BEST EMPLOYEE for cost control & inventory management.Year 2006 - 2007. I was selected as Maintenance Manager at another Mega plant of Coca-Cola. Dasna having 7 lines ( 2 PET, 3 Glass, 1 Juice, 1 Tetra pak) . Job role included handling of electrical/automation of the plant & utilities with five executives reporting to me. Three executives handled automation in shifts. One handled electrical maintenance & three handled the plant service utilities. I was able to bring down the maintenance cost by over 25%. I was part of the team to installing the new hot -fill juice line.Year 2008 2013 Joined Seven-up bottling in Nigeria as National Instrumentation Engineer reporting to the National Manufacturing Manager to handle project & plant technical support In year 2008 , I was the project coordinator for installation of 21 EBI machines at 9 plants of Seven-up across Nigeria. I have functioned as a Project leader to install 600 BPM KHS line at Ikeja & ABA in year 2009.Independently executed the installation of the PET line at Enugu . I have conducted extensive trainings to develop in-house capability to maintain Automated machines like EBI/Mixer etc .Hands on experience of bottling Machines SIDEL blowing machines KHS/Kister Tray packer SIdel Alfa /Krones labeller 40 bar compressors of Gardner Denver / ABC spain. ( Multistage Reciprocating Split type with Screw) Multi-pass fire-tube boilers using heavy oil/Gas of Thermax.
