I should think he’s around eighteen years old. He’s got spiky, short hair and he’s dressed by a dark T-shirt and jeans with a belt. He also wears a chain, but it doesn’t look as he’s got any other jewellery on. Judge by his facial expression and his posture, I say that he’s a bit grumpy. He’s obvious not very happy about something. He’s standing outside somewhere – I reckon perhaps the picture was took in the street because there is a wall in the behind. 1 2 3

A Look at the photos of three teenagers. Which one would you most like to meet? Why?

B Quickly read the text below. Which photo from A is being described?

A in pairs. Get some feedback from the class, ensuring they can give reasons for their choices.

• Tell students to quickly skim the text in B to identify which teenager is being described (picture 2).

• Give students time to find and correct the errors in the text. Check answers as a class.
