Literal vs. Nonliteral Language

Literal language means exactly what it says, while figurativelanguage uses similes, metaphors, hyperbole, and personificationto describe something often through comparison with somethingdifferent. See the examples we came up with in class below.

Come up with at least 2 examples you find in your story for each day. If it is nonliteral language, explain what you think it really means.
