7 Remove the right hand side footpegbracket assembly to gain access to theO2 sensor in the muffler (Fig. B).

8 Unscrew the stock O2 sensor from themuffler.

9 Screw the Dynojet O2 sensor into themuffler.

Note: On some exhaust systems it may benecessary to enlarge the hole in themuffler to accept the Dynojet O2sensor.

10 Route the square 6 pin connector fromthe PCIII behind the right hand throt-tle body.

11 Plug the Dynojet wide band sensorinto the PCIII harness (Fig. C).

Use a zip tie to keep the PCIII har-ness away from the throttle linkage.

1 Remove the seat.

2 Remove the lower fairing.

3 Remove the left hand and right handfairings.

4 Remove fuel tank.

5 Install the PCIII module in the tailsection of the motorcycle. Figure Ashows the unit laying in the tail sec-tion but it can be mounted in severallocations. Make sure the unit or thewiring harness does not get com-pressed by the seat. Use the suppliedvelcro to attach the unit.

6 Route the wiring harness towards thefront of the bike.

17 Plug the PCIII in line of the stockinjector and TPS and the stock wiringharness (Fig. F).

Route the harness for the TPS behindthe throttle body. Make sure the har-ness does not interfere with the throt-tle linkage.

15 Unplug the stock wiring harness fromthe L.H cylinder injector (Fig. E).

16 Unplug the stock wiring harness fromthe Throttle Position Sensor (Fig. E).

Align the PCIII connector to the stockwiring harness as shown below. Thesquare edges of the PCIII connectoralign with the spring clip side of thestock wiring harness

12 Follow the wiring harness for thestock O2 sensor up to the main har-ness which is located under the fueltank.

13 Unplug the stock O2 sensor from themain wiring harness (Fig. D). Thestock O2 sensor is no longer needed.

14 Plug the mating lead from the PCIIIto the stock wiring harness. Attachconnector to frame using the suppliedzip ties.

19 Plug the wiring harness from thePCIII in-line of the right hand cylin-der injector and wiring harness(Fig. H). Make sure to align the con-nectors as in step 16.

20 Before reinstalling the fuel tank makesure that the wiring harness is routedin a manner that it will not getpinched or damaged.

21 Reinstall fuel tank.

22 Before reinstalling the bodyworkinspect the throttle cables where theyenter the throttle body and make surethat they are properly seated insidethe adjuster.

23 Reinstall bodywork

Note: The white 4 pin connector on the PCIIIharness is to hook up an optionalDynojet air/fuel gauge:
