Favorite Similarity
Some places of the world still had some great tyranny, like China, Korea, and South Africa.
Favorite Difference
The perpetual propaganda of war and hatred against the other nations, and the more or less peaceful relations of 1984.
Conclusion
There are many differences between the book “1984” and the year 1984. There were some similarities, but they weren’t a very common era and fiction.
