Religious Education Classes
In-person Religious Education classes are scheduled to resume this week. Families were notified by email of their child’s schedule through May. We appreciate everyone being flexible and understanding as we adjust the schedule as needed. Everyone entering the building must present their screening form (available on our website) and have their temperature taken. If a child’s class, grade or school is closed because of COVID, they cannot attend Religious Education classes. Should you have any questions, please contact the Religious Education office.

All God wants from us is love
The old Baltimore Catechism taught that the reason God made us was to “know him, to love him and to serve him in this world, and to be happy with him forever in the next.” Simply put, God wants us to love him back.
Know him. The Bible is the conversation God wants to have with us. We can only truly get to know him when we listen to and read his word.
Love him. Jesus said, "You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind” (Matthew 22:37). Show your love by praying frequently, seek Communion with him often, and praise him continually.
Serve him. “Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me” (Matthew 25:40). When we make sure others have enough to eat, warm clothes to wear, and a place to stay, Jesus takes it personally. It’s how we show our love.
