TH E PRESIDENT'S MESSAGEBy Esther Hill

Four years ago las t Septemb ::r, a group of m erryr eshmen entered the Harbor Springs High School. We,n ou r school li fe, have strived to maintain th e highesttandards of th e school. Although we have en joyed our

o r k , we also have had our many hard knocks. Th e manyasks tha t were placed before us have only prepared us fo rhe greater difficulties that we will have to face.

Ou r success in the pa st four years is largely due tohe influence of ou r teachers wh o hav2 so kindly aided an d1elped us over the difficult places. We can now see that' C have often wrongly interpreted ou r eld er advisors andha t ou r progress was th eir aim.

We wish to offer ou r most sincer e thanks to thoseho have made ou r graduation possible; the teachers ,chool board, employ::es of th e building, and our parents.

~ s p e c i a do we wish to thank Mrs. DevVitt an d Mr. Bailey, vho have so faithfully aided us during our Senior year.

JUNIOR CLASS ACTIVITIESThe Juniors ar e such an ex travagant an d mo ney-ning class that one thing we have tr ied to do throughout tyear was to earn money. Here are son1e of the wayswhich we went about to do it. W e sold hot dogs and La.J , ....at a football game early in th e fall. On January 20gave th e show of Colleen Moore in "The Deser t Flow

At th e first one, Robert Swift, ou r PaHenry, r ead the "first, last and only production" ofJunior magazine, "The Boomer. " In it were several jon both th e students and faculty of th e high school.kept his audience laughing continuously. A play

"Looking fo r Servants" was very ably given by a groupJuniors. At ou r second chapel Bob Swift again gavetwo very funny im persona tions of characters.
