The collection is a fuse of Indian bridal contemporary silhouettes. The silhouettes range from conventional lehengas with stylized ruffle tops, floor length anarkalis, tassel lehengas, asymmetrical jacket lehengas, keyhole gowns, straight kurta with palazzos and hand textured gowns,” says the designer. S.S Nagarkar Jewellers Uncut diamonds are trending today. Uncut diamond and polka jewellery originated from Rajasthan and Jaipur royal families. S.S Nagarkar jewellers have 21 designers at Jaipur who work for this collection and develop a number of designs with the help of ancient books, paintings, encyclopedia. This collection is so exclusive that only one set is handcrafted and no other same piece will be made again. Adding to it is the Meenakari collection. Meenakari is done from real flower petals and its origin traces back more than 200 years. Their monopoly collection will be exclusively displayed at PTFW 2018. Avant Garde by ISAS - International Beauty School “Known for fashion in its most contemporary style, ISAS Pune presents its first ever Avant Garde show exhibiting intellectual, artistic, experimental fashion themes characterized by their unorthodox approach. It is meant to encourage its artists and the audience to keep living on the edge by discovering their innate strengths and desires because fashion is nothing but a discovery, an innovation and innovation is the only key to success,” says Bhakti Shah Sapke. Ulka Bafna Vohra Ulka SB’s Winter 2018 Collection is called Nihon Teien. It means traditional Japanese Garden. The collection aims to create clothing that can be worn for festive occasions all year round. There is a specific sense of celebration in each piece which is versatile and embracing. Soft fabric, meticulous tailoring and refined embroideries have made it possible to bring this ambitious project to life. Dimple Majithia Known for her detailed craftsmanship, superior fabrics, latest patterns and unique colour palette, Dimple Majithia’s designs fuse Indian heritage with a playful, contemporary vibe. The designer is showcasing a festive / wedding collection, which includes sarees sharara’s fusion on traditional with modern cuts, intricate hand embroidered pieces, velvet silks, brocade and more. Paashh by Vaishali Karad “Rooted and earthy, Paashh is a bond with nature. It is a journey of our love with handcrafted and sustainable clothing. Paashh takes us back to our roots with its deep rooted belief that nature is the ultimate inspiration,” says Vaishali Karad, a firm believer that culture and nature influence your choice of fashion. Tunics, dresses and tops in cotton, linen, khadi and silk, handcrafted to perfection, are what you can expect. Ashish and Shefali Ashish & Shefali launch their fall winter 2018 bridal collection ME- Midnight Empress. The collection is all about graphical aesthetics followed by inclination for Indian couture fashion with a sense of western touch. Fans enjoy a meet and greet session with cricket captain Virat Kohli P opular travel gear brand American Tourister con- cluded its Swagpack cam- paign with a fun meet and greet session with its brand ambassa- dor, Virat Kohli. Lucky winners flew down from across India to meet the Indian cricket captain. Entries were collected on the brand’s website where users had to upload their invoice of an American Tourister purchase and write why they love the brand, leading to the best one winning. What’s more, the brand’s Swagpack Dance Challenge, started by Virat and continued by other famous legends, led to another winning duo who put their best foot forward with the Swagpack song. Talking about his experience at the session, Virat said, “It was fun to connect with the youth of India through American Touris- ter’s meet and greet contest.
