History
• 1986 – Fibron BX established
• Mid 90’s – Fibron BX start dealings with Unique Systems LLC
• 1997 – Fibron BX appoint Unique Systems LLC as sole agent / distributor for UAE
• 2000 – Fibron BX acquired by the Cortland Group
Adds hose and umbilical capability to the already extensive Group focus on design / manufacture of specialist cables and ropes – extending service to it’s diverse customer base
New management (with many years umbilical and cable experience) brought in to combine with existing staff
• 2004 – Feb CFBX move to new manufacturing facility
• 2004 – July / Aug CFBX open sales offices in Aberdeen and Houston
• 2006 – major investment (braiders / extruders and larger lay-up machine)
• 2006 / 07 – Cortland Group project an annual turnover of $ 45 Million
