RE: #17‐113 Hoover Pump Systems
Mr. Dreher, For the past several years, Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) has purchased preventative maintenance services to its Hoover Irrigation Pumps and other supplies and related services from Hoover Pumping Systems. The agreement in place has been under the understanding that Hoover Pumping Systems is the only authorized provider of these items and services. Our current contract, #21‐7/12R is in its fifth and final year per our previous agreement. Since we are at the end of a 5‐year agreement, it is CCPS’s intent to re‐enter into a new contract, #17‐113 under the same principal that Hoover is still the only authorized vendor for these items and service. We are requesting that you complete the attached quote form to include:
1. Confirmation Hoover Pumping is the only authorized vendor in Collier County, Florida, 2. Annual pricing for the twelve (12) Hoover Pumps currently in use with CCPS, 3. Labor rates for any additional services, 4. % Mark‐up or Discount off of any materials or parts that may be required, 5. Acceptance by Hoover by authorized personnel.
Also, please note CCPS will request additional Administrative Requirements to include but not be limited to:
1. Fingerprints, badging of any Hoover employee performing services on CCPS site 2. Certificate of Insurance naming CCPS as an additional insured 3. Business license 4. Adherence to CCPS Policy (tobacco free, no weapons, etc...)
In order to insure our contract does not have any lapse in time, please return this information no later than Tuesday, April 4, 2017. This will be for the contract period July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018 with four (4) potential renewal periods from July 1 to June 30 of each year. We have enjoyed a great working relationship and look forward to continuing this in the future. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Respectfully, David W.
