Welcome to South Aiken Presbyterian Church! We are glad that
you are here this morning to join us in offering a service of
worship to the Lord. We believe all people are children of God.
We believe that the redeeming grace of God can bring each of us
into a new day. We believe all people are loved with a love that
has no end in Jesus Christ. Today, may our eyes be opened
again to these truths. May the blessings of joy and hope that can
only come from the nearer presence of God fill each of our
hearts. Let us worship God!
PLEASE NOTE: Please silence your phone dur ing the service. If needed, large print hymnals and sound
amplification devices are available in the Narthex. Please see an usher for assistance in obtaining these items.
NURSERY AND CHILDREN
Infants and toddlers are welcome in our nursery during both of our worship services and during our 10:00 a.m.
Sunday school hour. The nursery is located on the north side of the SAPC building complex. To find it,
please exit the front (main) entrance to the sanctuary and turn left. You will see a sign for the nursery at the
door on the side of the next building.
Children are invited either to remain in the sanctuary for the worship services or to go to the nursery at their
parents’ discretion. For those children who remain for the services, worship activity bags are available and
may be picked up near the doors as you enter the sanctuary. Bags are available for both older children (ages 7-
12 - blue handle) and younger children (ages 3-6 - purple handle). During today’s 11:00 a.m. service, children
ages 3 years through 5K are welcome to participate in our Children’s Church program, which follows the
Moment with Children. Chaperones will escort the children from the sanctuary to the fellowship hall for the
program. You may pick your children up in the fellowship hall after the service. If you need assistance of
any kind, please see an usher.

PNC Update
The PNC has now selected a candidate that it
hopes to nominate to serve as SAPC’s next
pastor and is negotiating the terms of call. Once
the terms of call are finalized and the Presbytery
has given its final approval, the PNC will
coordinate with the Session to schedule the
congregational meeting needed to call a pastor. It
will also prepare a report for the congregation,
which will synopsize the process it followed in
making its selection, provide information about
the nominee, and give the terms of call. Once
the report is ready, The PNC will present the
nominee to the congregation.
The PNC asks the congregation to continue to be
patient as it finalizes details and gives the
candidate the opportunity to work through
communications with his/her congregation. The
PNC will continue keep you informed as more
details come forth. It thanks everyone for their
prayers throughout the search and nomination
process and is excited about what is to come!!
Prayer is a powerful force for both those in
need of healing, comfort, strength, and
encouragement and for those engaging in
prayer. If you have a prayer request after office
hours, on weekends, or during holidays or
would like more info, contact Emily Lockard.
You can either call Emily at (803) 649-0473 or
email her at: [email protected]. If you
have a prayer request during office hours (M-
TH; 8am-5pm), please contact Denise at the
church office at [email protected] or at

Vacation Bible School
TO MARS and BEYOND!!
An out-of-this-world thank you is beamed out to
all those who volunteered to help with SAPC’s To
Mars and Beyond vacation Bible school program
this year! Over 150 children participated, and the
activity level and joyous laughter were proof
positive that they had a wonderful time. The effort
made by those who helped with registration,
snacks, playground and escort duty, science,
music, crafts, Bible stories, and all the rest made
this year’s program a huge success. Again thank
you. We could not have done it without you!

other's lives. Cost is $17 plus $3.00 to ride the bus.
