OUR PRODUCT RANGE SENSORS
R T D SENSOR ASSEMBLIES RESISTANCE TEMPERATURE DETECTORS ASSEMBLIES IN VARIOUS CONFIGURATIONS Comprising of Head, Inset, Terminal Block and Thermowells as per customer's requirements and specifications. Platinum, Nickel, Copper resistance elements like, Pt. 10, Pt46, Pt 50, Pt 100, Pt 200, Pt 500, Pt 1000 in DIN/JIS standard. NI-100, CU-53 as standard selection.
THERMOCOUPLE SENSOR ASSEMBLIES Thermocouple Assembly in various types such as J,K,T,E,R,S,B,N in various specifications as per the requirements of customers comprising of Head, Inset, Terminal Block as per ANSI or DIN standards.
THERMOWELLS For any temperature sensors thermowells are manufactured, standard designs are screwed as per API, MINERAL Insulated thermocouple in smallest dia of 1 mm is also offered. WELD ON WELLS or FLANGED WELL confirming to ANSI, NACE PTC 19.3, DIN, or JIS standards. Construction material for Thermowells include SS 304, SS 316, Brass, Copper, Aluminum, Monel, INCONEL 600, CRONAX, Teflon, Glass or any other material. Minimum dia ¼ inch and maximum length for BARSTOCK 2000 MM and 5400 MM for fabricated thermowells.
DIGITAL TEMP. GAUGES (“Digidial”, “Digisafe”, Digicon”) Digital Temperature Gauge spot reading as well as distant reading type having temperature range of 250°C to 800°C & -50°C to 1200°C. An ideal replacement for conventional type of dial Thermometers. DIGISAFE are flame proof housing CMRS approved for Explosion-proof application. DIGICON are Temperature Controller can be replace for filled or below type Temperature Switches or Thermostat.
INDUSTRIAL PRESSURE GAUGES Manufactured in various size of 2”, 2½”, 3”, 4”, 6” with accuracy of 0.25%, and 1%. The Product range include Standard Industrial Gauge, Sealed Diaphragm Gauge, Low Pressure
Diaphragm Gauge with Remote Seal unit. Ranges covered are 500 mm wc to 1400 Kg/Cm

DIAL THERMOMETERS (Temperature Gauges) Mercury filled, Gas filled and bimetallic type Dial Thermometer are manufactured in Rigid stem type and distance type (Capillary type) version. The Dial Size are 4” and 6” and Temp. Range -38°C to 600°C. Accuracy of Gauge are 1% FSD. Thermometer All Angle are also available for Mercury Filled and Bimetallic Version, Temperature Gauges are also provided with Electrical Contact 1 N/O, 1 N/C or both N/O or N/C slide type, Magnetic Type, micro switch.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS OF Q C DEPT. & COMMITTEE 1. The committee comprising of Chief Executive, Technical Executive & Operational
Executive will decide the specifications to be followed and consider approval of any change, modifications, alterations in specifications, sizes, drawings of any parts, raw materials, finished products, test methods etc. whether for problem saving, salvage improvements, new products etc. as per relevant standards.
2. Recommend and establish quality control objectives, plans procedures. 3. Recommend and establish organisational structure, define the functions,
responsibilities, authority and accountability of each position. 4. Select and train personals. 5. Control Limit Operations by cooperating in establishing performance standards,
appraising performance against standards and taking corrective actions. 6. Assure adherence to established policies 7. Review new designs for adequacy from the quality stand point and approve where
appropriate. 8. Establish inspection and test methods, specification and procedure to issue insure
uniform methods of maintenance of quality. 9. Coordinate with purchase department to establish vendor-consumer relationship that will
ensure purchased materials that meet specifications. a. Providing rating sheet of vendors w.r.t. quality b. Promote inspection and certification, statistical quality control for bulk materials by
vendors with respect to quality. 10. Providing manufacturing group with statistical quality performance. 11. To analyze and report inspection data.

12. Conduct quality appraisal of final product to assure maintenance of quality standard. 13. Conduct type tests and life tests on products. 14. Gather and analyze complaint/data from field to measure customer satisfactions/suggestion. 15. Design experiment with Engineering Department to obtain maximum data from minimum cost. 16. Educate all groups, quality circles, in methods of accomplishing quality production. 17. Improve and effect quality mindedness at all levels in all sections. 18. Establish quality specifications and inspection plan (sampling bulk quantity items) for purchase and piece parts. 19. Review and approve tools, dies, measuring instruments, gauges and recommended improvements. 20. Conduct packaging and handling tests to ensure that the final products will arrive in the customer's hands in a satisfactory conditions.
21. Observe closely all pilot runs and analyses results to serve as basis for making quality improvements. 22. Where quality difficulties occur in the factory, recommend changes and improvements in design, materials, methods to respective person in charge of the functions preferably in a joint quality circle meeting. 23. Obtain necessary data by means of chemical, metallurgical and physical test to ensure proper control of material properties for both purchased and processed items. 24. Procure and maintain inspection and testing equipments to meet plant production requirements. 25. Prepare test and inspection reports as required in procedure column of this manual.

DESIGN AND ALTERATION
New designs or any changes in any specification, size, tolerances, allowances, material
grade etc. should be approved first by the committee before any implementation.
MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS
Company standards are prepared by Q C with approval of the committee (standardisation and quality coordination committee) for all groups of materials like Carbon steel, Bright Bars, SS Bars, SS Tubes, Brass Bars, Machine Screws, Washers, cables, castings, etc.
The size and varieties will be first reduced to bear minimum for economy in purchase inventory reductions etc.
Test procedures, special processing methods etc also shall be standardised after approval of the committee.
INSPECTION OF MATERIALS
All incoming materials should be inspected immediately on receiving as per standard specifications mentioned in P.O. / Indents.
All o.k. material should be color coded and critical material should be tagged and identified with batch no. heat/cast no., receiving inspectino report no., receiving register no., etc. should also be mentioned on job cards for only important critical materiasl like thermocouple wires, MI cables, RTD elements etc. as per details on specifications.
One test piece should be drawn from each bar, tube length, strip coil, sheet wire bobbin etc.
All tests must be performed in laboratory including chemical, metallurgical, physical tests and visual tests as laid down in our company's standard for each material.
For visual check magnifying glass should be used as sound materials without cracks, flaws, laminations etc are important for bulbs, sheaths, protecting tubes, bourden, springs, extensions, stem connections etc.

Lot should be of uniform quality from a single heat/batch. If certificates and markings of
heat/cast numbers are not there on raw materials, 1 (one) sample test piece may be drawn
from each coil, bar, tube length, bundle, bobbin/spool.
POST TEST PROCEDURE FOR RAW MATERIALS
Important materials like capillary are immediately got zinc plated after closing both the ends to
prevent any oxidation.
Materials like stainless Steel 304 & 316 which are likely to get mixed up are both colour coded
and tagged. For testing SS 316 presence of Molybdenum is chemically spot checked by test
method.
PROCEDURE FOR IN PROCESS INSPECTION
Use drawing for making & inspections. For every new batch/set first piece inspection must be
done by production and inspector also. Piece is offered to inspection after checking up by
operative/setter/foreman/supervisor.
Inspector will inspect the first piece and will prepare a report. The report no. will be mentioned on
the job cards. If the piece is not satisfactory even after 1/2 trials the inspector write stop the
operation on the reports, and helps production to locate the root cause of the problem.
Information on such stoppage is given to Chief Executive immediately.
Patrolling inspection is done periodically depending on stability of processes & precision
level, importance etc.
For bulbs, protection tubes and sheath bore should be checked visually for concentricity. High
pressure Nitrogen gas test is done. Wall thickness minimum is checked specially. For
capillary free flaw test is done to check whether there is any blockage. Also visual inspection is

done to detect any unsound portion/flaw defects etc. All threaded parts shall be checked as per thread gauges (Go-No-Go). All welding extensions will
be checked for alignments. For Bare thermocouples welded junctions will be checked & mV
output checked. All test pieces will be checked specially. For MI thermocouples/RTDs, N2 test is
to be conducted for checking the junction integrity.
FEEDBACK FOR FIELD
To write the customer and collect the feed back and if required installations to be visited by
the Q.C./CHIEF EXECUTIVE.
PRODUCT CHECKING OF GAUGES
Metrology Instruments (Vernier, Micrometers, Testing Instruments, milli volt meters etc.)
invariably tested at least once a year at the time of stock checking.
