ALL EXISTING DUCTWORK NOT USED IN FINAL ARRANGEMENT.

2. MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL CAREFULLY COORDINATE DUCTWORK

AND OUTLET LOCATIONS WITH ALL OTHER TRADES BEFORE FABRICATING

ANY DUCTWORK. ALL DUCTWORK SHALL BE INSTALLED AS TIGHT TO THE

STRUCTURE AS POSSIBLE. ALL CONNECTIONS TO CEILING OUTLETS

SHALL BE SAME SIZE DUCTWORK AS OUTLET NECK SIZE. CONNECTIONS

TO CEILING OUTLETS SHALL BE MADE WITH FLEX. DUCTWORK (MIN.

LENGTH 9"; MAX. LENGTH 72"). IF AN ELBOW IS INSTALLED DIRECTLY AT A

CEILING OUTLET IT SHALL BE A SHEET METAL ELBOW. ALL CONDITIONS

SHALL BE FIELD VERIFIED BEFORE ORDERING EQUIPMENT OR

FABRICATING MATERIAL. REFER TO SPECIFICATIONS FOR COORDINATION.

3. INSTALL A MANUAL DAMPER IN ALL BRANCH DUCTS, INCLUDING

CONNECTIONS TO ALL CEILING OUTLETS. ALL ROUND CONNECTIONS TO

MAIN AND TRUNK DUCTS SHALL BE MADE WITH CONICAL FITTINGS.

4. FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION CONCERNING FAN COIL UNIT, SEE

SCHEDULE AND DETAILS.

5. ALL SQUARE THROATED ELBOWS SHALL HAVE AIRFOIL TURNING VANES

AND SHALL ONLY BE USED WHEN RADIUS ELBOWS WILL NOT FIT.

6. THE MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL VISIT THE JOB SITE AND CHECK

AND VERIFY ALL EXISTING CONDITIONS BEFORE BIDDING. ANY

DISCREPANCIES DISCOVERED BETWEEN EXISTING CONDITIONS AT THE

SITE AND THOSE SHOWN ON THE DRAWING SHALL BE REPORTED
