Olivia Afetian (Oompa Loompa) Olivia is 11 years old and caught the theatre bug at 8 when her family encouraged her to audition for a play. She landed the role of Pammy in “Clarissa's Closet,” and has since performed in “The Wizard of Oz,” “Holipalooza,” “A Christmas Carol,” “Mary Poppins,” and “Impossible Adventures.” "Thank you, God, Mom & Dad, Laurie, Carol, Mary and Rena for allowing me to be in this show!" Zach Andrews (Charlie) is thrilled to be back at the CTG. His past CTG performances include “Mary Poppins” (Michael Banks), “Winnie the Pooh” (Christopher Robin), and “The Wizard of Oz” (Niko). Zach is in sixth grade and when he isn't at the theatre he can be found with his buddies playing video games and watching the Angels. He'd like to thank both the CTG family and his own family for their continued support. Christina Belardinelli (Grandma Georgina) has gone from playing children’s roles to Grandma Georgina (45+ yrs.). She holds a BFA from USC and always enjoys “touchstone” performances in Community Theatre. “I deeply appreciate the spirit of community theatre - people coming together, exploring creativity through theatre exemplify community, humanity and generosity.” Miranda Jane Bowling (Oompa Loompa) This is 7-year-old Miranda’s first production with the Canyon Theatre Guild, and she couldn’t be more excited. She has a big love for musical theatre, and hopes to continue with it for years to come. Big thanks to Mom, Dad, Ethan, and Henry, and of course to her fellow Oompa Loompas! Malia Brauer (Oompa Loompa) is delighted to make her theater debut in Laurie Morgan's production of Willy Wonka. Malia thanks her parents for encouragement, her brother for support, the directors and artistic teachers for their guidance. Thanks to Will for encouraging her to audition. This experience has been a dream come true. Ariana Calderon (Ensemble) After spending her summer at the US Performing Arts Musical Theatre Conservatory, Ariana is so excited to be back on stage. She has been in countless shows, but her favorite roles include Wendy in “Peter Pan” and Sandy in “Grease.” "Special thanks to my family and the directing team for their support!"
LaTyna Caldwell (Phineous Trout) A southern girl with a dream to take part in the catalyst of defying stereotypes and limitations. She completed her training on the Meisner Technique with Joanne Baron and D.W. Brown after receiving her B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She wears many hats and thrives off mastering any challenge.

She would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support, and Ms. Laurie and the Production team for this amazing opportunity! Kate Eng (Kid Ensemble/Squirrel) A 5th grader at West Creek Academy, Kate is excited to be playing a Squirrel in this production of “Willy Wonka.” Audiences might remember her from last season’s production of “Winnie the Pooh” where she played the Skunk. Many thanks to Ms. Laurie and her family for their support. Stephen Giraldo (Grandpa Joe) is delighted to be making his debut with the Canyon Theatre Guild. Over the past 5 years, he has directed children’s musical theatre shows in Pacoima and San Fernando. This time, he’s on stage instead of behind the scenes. Beside singing and acting, he is an accomplished trumpet player and voice-over actor. He also is a songwriter and music producer. He recently started up mofiholidays.com which provides fun animated short films based on major holidays. Stephen would like to thank the wonderful group of ladies in charge of this fantastic musical. Felicia Grady (Mrs. Teavee) is excited about being in her second CTG show, after “Damn Yankees.” When Felicia is not on stage, she works full time as a local Realtor. His love of theater started at the CTG with the role of Tiny Tim in “A Christmas Carol: The Musical” when he was 6 years old. Extra special thanks to his Grandma, Jean Paletz, for encouraging his love of performing.

She has appeared in “CSI: Wonderland” (Queen of Hearts), “Hello, Dolly!” (ensemble), and “The Wizard of Oz” (Tree #2). She would like to thank Laurie and the production team of Willy Wonka for the opportunity to try out a German accent! Samantha Oakley (Oompa Loompa) Sam has done theater for five years and loves it. This is her very first production with the CTG and it’s been a great experience where she has learned a little bit more with every rehearsal. She’s super glad to be part of this show and meet some new friends. Heidi Parker (Ensemble) Thank you to my mom and my little brother for driving me all over town for rehearsal. And thank you to my dad for taking me to all my auditions. And finally thanks to the directors for casting me in my first show at the CTG!

Marianne and her kids are also heavily involved with animal rescue. They have rescued, fostered, vetted, and placed dozens of cats and dogs. She would like to remind everyone to spay and neuter their pets. #adoptdontshop. Owen Shean (Ensemble) first appeared on the CTG stage as the baby elephant bird in “Seussical” at just 8 months old. He has since performed in numerous productions and is excited to keep performing in the future. Owen wants to thank his family for supporting him and sharing this activity with him. Christopher Sherwood (Mike Teavee) is thrilled to make his CTG stage debut in this fun-filled production! He has performed the last two summers in SCRT productions of “The Wizard of Oz” (Munchkin Coroner) and “Mary Poppins” (Kid Ensemble). Christopher has also performed locally in “Peter Pan” (John Darling), “Annie” (Jimmy Johnson), “Beauty and the Beast” (Dancing Candlestick), and “The Music Man” (Bad Boy). Recently I played Glacier in the CTG Holipalooza, “December’s Last Wish.” I also played Little Cosette in “Les Miserables” at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center and Tinkerbell in “Peter Pan.” Thank you to the incredibly patient and talented directors, crew and cast of Willy Wonka. I am so happy to be a part of this. Thanks to the vocal coaches that have worked with me for the last five years and to my family for EVERYTHING, Myliu!
Dakota Zumsteg (Ensemble) likes to be in plays with her family. This will be her fifth play at the CTG. She hopes to own a farm when she grows up because she loves animals. Thanks to the director for the opportunity. David Zumsteg (Willy Wonka) loves performing, whether rocking Sunset Strip with a Les Paul guitar slung around his shoulder or performing on the stage of CTG. He has appeared in past CTG shows such as “A Christmas Carol” and “CSI: Wonderland” and is super excited to bring this dream role to life, combining his love of acting and music (thank you Laurie!). When he's not onstage, David enjoys composing music for film and television (American Idol, Undercover Boss, Catfish, etc.) and spending time with his family. Madison Zumsteg (ensemble) is happy to be on stage again, and would like to thank the director for this wonderful role. She started acting at the CTG at the age of 5.
