WHO WE ARE
WHAT WE DO
Bixel Exchange is a small, business development center hosted at the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, specializing in serving the technology community in Los Angeles.
In addition to the civic, policy and business community programming managed by our Innovation & Emerging Technologies Department at the Chamber, the Bixel Exchange Small Business Development Center (SBDC) seeks to further help technology companies thrive in L.A. To do this, our center has built a quality, scalable product that delivers high value to clients, advisors and partners, meets our center metrics and milestones and establishes a system of market feedback so we can further define our customer base and refine our products to meet their needs.
Bixel Exchange serves entrepreneurs through a specialized, start-up, development program and through collaboration with accelerators, incubators, co-working spaces, venture capitalists, angel investors and private equity firms, universities, research institutions, innovation labs and government.
Through these partnerships with corporate and civic organizations throughout Los Angeles, the Bixel Exchange connects technology businesses with mentors and business advisors to get them the “I-wish-I’d-known” insights they need to grow. These services are offered at no charge to clients through a cooperative agreement with the Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Los Angeles Regional SBDC Network.
Bixel Exchange leverages the power of the Chamber and the Los Angeles Regional SBDC Network, providing services for companies in the LA, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. The Bixel Exchange SBDC provides detailed, analytical feedback to entrepreneurs in order to support the development of their companies. The feedback is combined with specific subject matter resources offered by our advisors so that client companies can be successful in securing funding, increasing revenues or simply getting their businesses and products off the ground.
