Recommendation for FARIS NAUFAL RAHMAN

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter to provide support to Mr. FARIS NAUFAL RAHMAN, who was

an undergraduate student of Mechanical Engineering Department at the Faculty of Mechanical and

Aerospace Engineering of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). He has recently completed his final session

and received his Bachelor of Engineering degree with a grade of "Excellent".

In my capacity as a lecturer of the department and as the supervisor of his Final Project, I have

known him for three years of his study and have found him to be an aspiring and sincere student. Mr.

FARIS NAUFAL RAHMAN was a student who is great in both class and lab with a good academic

report (GPA 3.07 out of 4). During my time supervising his Final Project titled "Numerical Simulation on

Double- Regulated Kaplan Turbine with 7.34 m Head and 3.24 m3/s Flow Rate Using Computational

Fluid Dynamics Method", he has been active and showing his seriousness and commitments during his

works. During that time I have also known that Mr. FARIS NAUFAL RAHMAN has a strong

passion to continue his study for a master degree.

I have recently learned that Mr. FARIS NAUFAL RAHMAN had successfully passed the

selection process to join the M.Sc Management and Engineering in Production System in the RWTH

Aachen University, Germany. As a lecturer, I strongly recommended Mr. FARIS NAUFAL

RAHMAN's intention to take masters degree and to apply a scholarship process provided by LPDP. I

hope that he will be given your favorable consideration.
