when we are speaking of or describing two or more than two objects.

- You order the numbers from lowest to highest and find the middle number in the series.

- Simply find the number that appears the greatest number of times in the group.

Measure of central tendency

median is used to refer to the middle number in a group. To determine the median, you order the numbers from (lowest) to (highest) and find the middle number in the series. If there are two middle numbers, then add them together and divide by two to find the mean. 

mode is the number in a series that occurs most frequently (most common. Simply find the number that appears the greatest number of times in the group. 

Mean is the average of a series. To determine it you add up all the number in the series, and then divide by the number of numbers in the series.

Range is how high and low a series spans. To determine it, you simply identify the lowest and highest numbers in the series, and subtract the lowest from highest. That is the range in a group of numbers.

-Make a group of four, each person in group will get the different topic. (mean, median, mode, range) (Home group)- Each person in group read your own topic.- After you read your own topic, separate from your group and find your friends in other groups who has the same topic. (Expert group)- Talk and try to learn your topic with your friends in new group.

- After you get an idea of your topic, then come back to your old group (Home group). - talk and teach your friends about your topic.-All in class do the quiz together.
