REGULATIONS

These regulations apply to ALL breeds.

Breeds with low entry numbers may be grouped and judged as interbreed classes. Age class parameters may be reduced or increased in relation to entry numbers at the discretion of the chief steward. The age of stud beef cattle is to be the actual age up to and including 1st May 2017 All stock must be eligible for registration with their respective Breed Societies. No Cattle are to leave the grounds until after the GRAND PARADE

PLEASE STATE BREED ON ENTRY FORM.

Exhibitors are advised that the enclosed Johnes’ disease declaration must be completed and no exhibits will be permitted on the grounds, or to compete in the Grafton Show unless this certificate is completed and returned with your entry form and entry fees.

All cattle over 8 months old are to be fitted with nose rings or nose clips with suitable leads attached while in leading or showing areas.

Exhibits not tied or stalled in designated area will be disqualified. NO VEHICLES WILL BE ALLOWED INTO THE CATTLE AREA AT ANY TIME.

STALL ENQUIRIES It must be stated on your entry form if you wish overnight stalls for your cattle. PLEASE STATE NIGHTS REQUIRED. A Committee Member will be on duty until 8pm Friday 5th May For late arrival notice contact the Chief Steward Tom Chevalley 0428370522 Please use the Loading Ramp fronting Villiers Street.

ENTRY CONDITIONS Exhibitors with a registered ABN will be issued with an INVOICE upon request, Grafton Show is GST exempt. GRAFTON SHOW SOCIETY MEMBERS $3 per entry NON MEMBERS $5 per entry ALL STEER CLASSES $10 per entry per class

Entry fees must accompany entry form.

Exhibits in Group Classes must be owned by the Exhibitor. Cattle may be mouthed to verify age at the discretion of the Stewards. Health Statements required Pestivirus Tests results to be forwarded with application, only BVDV

free (non-PI) animals will be allowed to enter the Grafton Show. Exhibitors are advised that they must carry their own Public Risk Insurance cover. Please supply a copy of your current insurance policy cover with your nominations. The Chief Steward's decision to remove any Exhibitor or Exhibit from the Showground will be final. All Steers will be weighted by 7am Saturday 6th.

ALL EXHIBITORS MUST WEAR BREED UNIFORM OR DUST COATS WHEN PARADING CATTLE.

The JUNIOR PARADERS COMPETITION will be held in the Cattle Section on SATURDAY 6th May commencing at 7.30 am.

Judging will commence at 8.00am SHARP on Saturday 6th May
