Remove any pictures,

Fill nail holes, cracks, or any

other surface imperfections with

patching compound and let dry

completely before sanding smooth.

Wipe down walls with a damp

cloth to remove dust. Allow to dry

to remove greasy or waxy stains.

Use a primer/sealer on any

water or oil stains to prevent

"bleeding" through the finish coat.

To ensure proper adhesion,

sand glossy surfaces with fine
