Energi Nusa Mandiri (ENM) is established in 2010 (as a new holding) starting with PT. PKN as its first member.

PKN has 1 Concession in Bulungan Regency under PKP2B 3rd Generation and has mining license covering an area of 23,646 Ha.

Exploration in Bulungan has been conducted partially:

Calorific Value in the range of 3,400 kcal/kg gar

PKN was started mining operation in September 2009 from Kelubir mine location (1st Block) in Bulungan Regency.

Sales Contracts from Domestic and International Market has already in place for PKN.

First shipment was completed on 21st December 2009.

PKN next steps will be:

Develop PKN Sekayan mine location (2nd Block) in Bulungan Regency

The Coal Upgrading will provide a higher heating value byreducing high moisture by using drying method and physicalstabilization of the dried product.

Coal Upgrading method gives some advantages:

1. Can be applied to most coals.

2. Reduce effective transportation cost.

PKN with 227 million Tonnes Resources and 119 million Tonnes Reserves isgreat asset for Bulungan Regency.

The Coal Quality is Low Rank Coal with Low Sulphur and Low Ash Content.The market has accepted the Coal as the blending coal with High Rank Coalwith High Sulphur content.

The production was started in Bulungan Kelubir Mine Operation inSeptember 2009 and first shipment has completed in 21st December 2009.

Sekayan Mine Operation will be developed and started in year 2011.

Coal Upgrading study is in progress.
