Please clean the surface where PLASEAL NF-23 will be constructed, and be free of water and dust.

Application Procedure①

Please construct NF-23 so that any cables do not touch rectangular / circular coaming.

If a cable needs to be spaced from any other cables or rectangular /circular coaming, spacer can be used to make space.

Metal parts can be used at the deck division for ease in construction.

Please construct NF-23 without any space, especially at the surrounding of any cables.( For example, a stick or suitable instrument can be used in order not to make any space. )

Fill with PLASEAL NF-23 up to the edge of rectangular / circular coaming and cover the surface of edge with it.

Total area of several bundled cables should be as follows or less.For rectangular coaming approx.105㎜×365㎜ ( height×width )For circular coaming approx.105㎜×110㎜ ( height×width )

Notes・Since PLASEAL NF-23 is a dry-hardening type putty (fire-resistant putty),

it should start hardening from the applied surface. Please make sure that it might take several months for fully hardening based on applied thickness, temperature and humidity.It should still have high fire-resistant performance even though the applied putty hasn’t fully hardened yet.(When you apply 100㎜ of PLASEAL NF-23 to φ130 at an ambient temperature of 20 degrees C / humidity of 65%, it takes about a month for hardening of 10㎜ from the applied surface, and about 4 months for fully hardening.)

・The warranty period for PLASEAL NF-23 is 6 months after production, and is valid if products remain sealed and are stored at room temperature avoiding direct sunlight.

・Avoid using PLASEAL NF-23 outdoors and in a place where water splashes directly.

・It is recommended to use some waterproof sealing materials or coating materials like NAICOAT SB-61(waterproof type ; Nitto chemical Industry co.,ltd. ) at high humidity area in order to cover the surface of PLASEAL NF-23 from moisture. (If it is exposed under high humidity for a long time, this might cause dripping and seeping from the surface.)
