Oropesa del MarOropesa del Mar is a typical Mediterranean town on the Costa del Azahar. Somewhere else you pay double!Popular holiday areas such as Benidorm, Alicante or Malaga currently have a price level that is twice as high as Oropesa del Mar.Oropesa del Mar is, despite the presence of all conditions to be a very popular holiday resort, still not very well known to foreign tourists and therefore has relatively low real estate prices. It is the ideal solution for people who, to have a pleasant time or for health reasons, want to winter in Spain but who fear problems with the language barrier, or with making contacts with others, the lack of UK TV channels and because of being unfamiliar with medical care organizations and other agencies. These concerns are not there when you winter in the Granfiesta House with hundreds of other international guests, an English-speaking helpdesk, UK TV channels and other facilities.

YieldThe Playa Dorada apartments will continue to rise annually in both rental income and value. The biggest increase takes place in the first three years because the winter period and the spring and autumn gradually get a higher occupancy rate. More than enough beaches to entertain yourselfOropesa del Mar offers you 12 kilometres of coastline, with 7 beaches that stand out in diversity and in the purity of their water. You have the choice of long fine sandy beaches, smaller, more hospitable family beaches, small accessible bays and wild beaches with rocks. A walk from north to south takes you along semi-urban and urban beaches, with more than 2 kilometres of sand. The rocky strip is ideal for diving and fishing, and is very accessible, with a wide range of facilities and with seafaring, windsurfing, sailing, jet skiing, etc. Further south the coast becomes more robust and the cliffs around Oropesa del Mar lead you to beautiful, quiet and secluded beaches.

PeniscolaPeniscola is at 35 kilometres from Oropesa. It is a rocky headland soaked in history. Around the year 1,300 the Temple Knights built their castle that can still be seen today. There lived three popes in this castle and one of them is even buried there.The town consists of narrow streets, antique and souvenir shops, bars and artists’ studios. There are beautiful beaches and you can take a walk on a romantic boulevard with palm trees.

The nicest restaurantsSpaniards like tasty food. That is clearly noticeable in Oropesa del Mar. Various restaurants and small eateries such as tapas bars, pizzerias, ice cream parlours and hamburger shops can be found along the promenade, in the side streets and around the Marina d’Or hotel area. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner to everyo-ne’s taste and to everyone’s wallet.

Opposite your apartment is the restaurant “A banda Arroceria”. A few more streets there is another one. You will find step by step each of the 89 restaurants that are in Oropesa. Most of the restaurant serves Spanish cuisine, but there are also alternatives such as pizzerias, burger shops or restaurants with a different kitchen.

Information packageWhen you have decided to buy an apartment, you will receive an information package with construction drawings from Playa Dorada, the content of the furniture package offered, a management agreement for the financial, administrative, rental and maintenance management of your apartment, an explanation of the Spanish taxes and legislation in which you are involved as owner of real estate, and indemnity statements from the attendant lawyer.
