Uses• When trying to conceal the identity of the
agent (or subject); when the identity of the agent is unknown; when there is no specific agent.
• The recipient of the action becomes the subject of the sentence.
• Follow this pattern: [recipient] + ser + [past participle] + por + [agent].– Examples:• Los chicos fueron comidos por el dragón. • La tienda fue robada por Javier, otra vez.

Tenses
• Singular– Ella es/ha sido/fue llevada al hospital. – El abogado es/ha sido/fue llevado a su casa.
• Plural– Ellas son/han sido/fueron llevadas al hosptial.– Los abogados son/han sido/ fueron llevados a su
casa.
