Today going to Picton, the picturesque seaside town is the South Island base for the ferry service that links the main islands of New Zealand. It’s also the gateway to the marine, forest and island attractions of the Marlborough Sounds. Built around a very sheltered Harbour, the town has an attractive seafront dotted with cafés, restaurants and various types of galleries. We leave for Cook Strait Ferries travel between Wellington and Picton New Zealand. The 92km voyage takes about 3 hours and has been described as “one of the most beautiful ferry rides in the world”. Upon reaching Picton we head towards Nelson which is about 2 scenic hours. After a long day enjoy leisure time in Sunniest City Nelson, on the eastern shores of Tasman Bay. Overnight stay will be in Nelson.
