“Helping Build Up the Domestic Church”
What is the “Domestic Church”? The term “Domestic Church” refers to the family, the
smallest body of gathered believers in Christ. Though recovered only recently, the term dates all the way back to the first century AD. The Greek word ecclesiola referred to “little church.” Our Early Church Fathers understood that the home was fertile ground for discipleship, sanctification, and holiness. Are you and your family saints in training in your own “little church”? Your answer should be YES! Visit the Office of Faith Formation for more information on training to be saints!
Catholic Faith Facts Apologetics Class Would you like to be ready with Biblical answers to what Catholics really believe? Have you ever wondered “Why do we Catholics do that”? Would you like to share the faith in a dynamic way? Then this is the place for you! Sessions meet every other Wednesday. Upcoming classes include:
We meet every other Wednesday in Room 9 of the School at 7:00 pm. Come and fortify your armor (Ephesians 6:13-17) so you will “Always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope” (1 Peter 3:15).
R.C.I.A. Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
Becoming Catholic We invite all adults who may be considering becoming Catholic, to join
us on a Journey of Faith in the R.C.I.A. Process. We know many of you come to Mass with your families and are hesitant to take that first step. Our St. Rose of Lima R.C.I.A Team provides a welcoming environment where the Teachings of the Church are presented and your questions answered. We bring you on a Faith Journey with the Catholic Church; its beliefs, traditions, history and worship. Inquiry sessions are beginning. There is no obligation in the early phase of the Process. Please call the Faith Formation office at 526-5513.
Missionary Disciples Needed Do you have a love of the sacraments, especially Baptism? Is God calling you to “go make disciples”? Are you willing to sacrifice 5 or 6 hours a month to help hand on the faith you love to the next generation? Please prayerfully consider joining our Baptism Preparation Team. We will help you with formation and provide you with everything you need to serve in this ministry. Do not be afraid! Contact the Office of Faith Formation for more information. “We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love.” Saint Mother Teresa”

Did you Know? Know when words are warning signs
Some predators will use comments and conversations to groom potential victims. Be on guard any time an adult is talking to a child about sex, no matter how they’re presenting it (hygiene, reproduction, etc.). Physical flattery can be another red flag — predators sometimes try to make children feel good about themselves by commenting on their physical appearance.

our parish families give prayerful consideration for their support to Together in Mission. Remember a pledge is payable over a ten month period. We would like to show our Archbishop Gomez that we are united with the life and mission of our

¿Sabia Usted?
