    Dongjiao Market,Beijing,China

The base is located at the dongjiao market

near to CBD outside the 3 rd Ring Road

of Beijing. the market appears chaotic and

disorderly like an isolated island in the city.

I considered to influence and to stimulate

the renovation process of this area through

a catalytic agent, bringing in people from

other area, creating new urban indoor and

outdoor public spaces and improving its

    self-adjustment and self-improvement. I

want to make it gradually harmonize into

the macro environment of Beijing while

    maintaining its own characteristics, maximize

its potential in pushing the city forward, and

eventually fulfill the renewal inside Beijing.CIT

The base is located at the Dongjiao Market near to CBD outside the 3 rd Ring Road of Beijing. Although standing in the central business district with high-rise buildings, the market sti l l appears chaotic and disorderly like an isolated island in the city. Such an environment can neither realize self-update to keep up with the urban development, nor meet the demands of people living around.

The concept is starting from a piece

of paper, cutting two edges of each

of random triangles in this paper, then

folding and rotating those triangles to

make the paper erect on the ground.

When I made progress model for this

project, I was so excited for the visual

effect of interior space,it is vibrant and

    dynamic.I can imagine the natural

    atmosphere of this building.

The design process was relax and

enjoyable, I learned that a good concept

is not only about constantly adding new

elements, but also it should try to reflect

the characteristics of the building itself by

    holding one element.

For myself, this design is not only a impressed work, but also it is a turning point for understanding design of architecture. At this time,I try to blur the relationship between light and construction, in other words, with using the new construction system, while building the unique lighting of the interior.

The piazza has a special triangular shape,

and it really has an influence on surrounding

transportations. The buildings around the area

are related closely to the local residents,

such as cultural, leisure, housing and

commercial facilities. So the design concept

is focus on city public space,it can make a

good relationship between art and city, the

shape of the museum is like a living sculpture

which grows from the core to triangle base

endpoints. The ground floor partly built on stilts

    which serves as public space

patrons will be entering it through a long bridge

    passing underneath the mass,

for one hand, the museum must be a landmark

and stimulate the triangle area,it also attract

more people to perform activities.in other

words, this building marks the beginning of the

    renovation of the deserted piazza.

The incentre of triangle area is also the core of

the art museum, , the underground piazza also

enrich varieties of space experience.Total land area: 14,512 square meters

This mountain villa is the first design I created

    when I was in College.

The base is located in the Beijing suburbs area

,it is a typical mountainous region terrain, and

the owner want to build a holiday villa on the top

    of the mountain.

beacause the base is flexible,so I want to use

a concept of polyline which make the building

integrate into the nature, and make a connection

between indoor space and outdoor space.

I choose the U-shaped exterior after several

experiments, the reason is that the semi-

enclosed space which the U-shaped form

can perform a transitional space,it means that

people can overlook the mountain scenery in

the outside ,and can also appreciate the interior

    design of the building.

My starting pointthe most interesting thing of this

villa design is that the whole work

was finished by hand drawing,it is

    a orginal feeling for architectural

    design using mind and hand

    coordination, especially.,that there

    was no computer aid.

This development scheme is aimed to

create an urban substrate that lifts up the

ground landscape to a higher level, upon

where it offers an undulating platform

    for the skyscrapers (Hotel, Service

    Apartment, and Office etc.).

The overall undulating platform is raised

up to 20+ m level, people walking on it

could easily enjoy the views surrounding

or over the river, platform partially

depresses at where the skyscraper sits,

the depressed area creates a multi-

    leveling space arrangement that allows

    the interaction from different levels,

this kind of void like depressed area

also embraces the podium part of the

    skyscraper, peoples behavior becomes

a moving image for those who are using

    the skyscraper podium.

    Benifiting from the demographic

    bonus,China is confronting an

    unremarkable crisis that many developed

    countried have already encountered.The

problem is the old age boost.

Located at Changping, Beijing, this is a

true design to aim to look at the old issue

in China, a serious result of single child

policy. The old people are getting isolated

    and amitted.A common space concept

is introduced here to encourage people

to open their mind and communicate with

others. This is only physically taking care of

them, but also mental heal the problem.

I had learned a lot of professional

skills during my two years work

    experience,those knowledge

    involve from design concept

    to the details of construction

    or from city masterplan to

    furnitrue design,though there

are some times that I could

    be disoriented and confused

due heavy workload, I think it

    will be converted to precious

    experience for accumulations. I

wish that I will stay hungry and

    foolish for architectrue and my

life in the future, and try to find

    personal characteristics for

design, those are my next steps

    for thinking and exploring.

This project could be called furniture

design or may be interior design, because

this reception desk is directly joined to the

indoor wall, and the L-shaped wall also will

    guide people for direction,

the concept was born of paper folding, the

    several triangle folding copper surfaces

and the light between those surfaces make

this reception area possess strong visual

    impact,

I faced a lot of problems during the

    furniture construction, communication

    with producers solved those troubles

efficiently. After the completion of this

project, I realised that the details should

be more considered and experienced at

the construction site more often which can

    improve my professional skills.

eThis piece of architecture gives a

person a kind of pure and calm

feeling. It has a soft and elastic

    components which serves as it's

    shock absorber, to prevent trauma

    after an earthquake.

The white and elastic softness of

    this building, let people temporarily

forget about the ruins of their

homes. It's a perfect place to find

    comfort, to rest, and enjoy

    coping up completely.

It is transparent from the inside

the sky. From the inside the sky,

the sun, moon, and stars , bird ,

trees , shadow, and figure mottled

crowds, are all visible and it gives

a person hope and mend a broken

    heart.
