    Nominal sizes: pipes, meters and pipe reducersThe choice of the nominal meter size should not automatically be based on the nominal size of the pipe. The decisive factor is the hig-hest flowrate that occurs continuously in the pipe - this determines the nominal flowrate Q3 of the meter.
