If it was released in the last fifteen years, there’s a middling chance that someone within New Zealand media may have allowed Sarah to: programme the music video; introduce the live-to-air; write inches about the album; playlist the single; and/or interview the bass player. (Sorry about that.) With a background that includes stints in music television, screenwriting, radio production, music journalism and television puppetry, Sarah is currently the Programme Director of New Zealand’s largest independent alternative radio station, 95bFM.

After returning to Brisbane from London music licensing agency Ricall, Tyler McLoughlan founded The Sound Pound in 2011 with a mission to connect independent artists and composers to sync opportunities; there were just too many shit-hot-but-broke bands getting around who needed the cash and kudos boost, not to mention some insight on the value of their copyrights. Tyler is also a passionate copyright educator and sessional lecturer who regularly leads workshops for creatives and business types alike on music rights management particularly where it applies to income diversification, collaboration and synchronisation.
