Galvanic current flowing from one limb to the other causes polarization of the tissues. Polarization can be considered as a temporary intra-cellular and extra-cellular disorder in the dynamic metabolic disturbances. The body protects itself from this condition with a controlled neural and humoral reaction. The main effect of polarization is hyperaemia, particularly in the capillary zones.Galvanic baths are particularly recommended for: disorders of the central nervous system, neuralgia, polyneuritis, non-paralytic poliomyelitis and in situations of increased or decreased sensitivity of the afferent and efferent nerves. CH0005 BUBBLE GRiD The unit produces a gentle stimulating massage that is applied to the whole body through compressed air. This product has been designed to be portable, and can be connected to the compressed air ( or gas) central ducts. The massaging action is produced by air bubbles, coming from about 2000 openings located on tubes. This very gentle massage from the micro-bubbles is also suitable for patients suffering from cardiac diseases. The grid is arranged with segments connected one to the other. It is supplied complete with an external compressor. It must be fitted with accessory code CH0014 before use.
