THE RELATIONSHIP OF THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND EARLY MOBILIZATION WITH THE HEALING PROCESS OF SECTIO CAESAREA WOUND AT PUBLIC HOSPITAL OF ZAINOEL ABIDIN BANDA ACEH

ABSTRACT

Background: Childbirth case with Sectio Caesarea is commonly done nowadays with highly success level. Although it is seen as the last choice, today Sectio Caesarea has become something general. Sectio Caesarea is far safer compared to the past. Its because of the advancement in antibiotic, blood transfusion, anesthesia, and the perfect of surgery technique. This causes the inclination to do surgical operation without better consideration. One of the hospitals that carry out the Sectio Caesarea is Zainoel Abidin hospital. In 2011, the amount of childbirth with Sectio Caesarea in this hospital is 608 cases, and most of them were done without early mobilization after 6 10 hours after surgery operation with the reasons that they never know about the benefit of early mobilization, the anxiety of wound and the painful, and also because of still believe on the myth in the society that they cant move intensely, cant eat the seafood or something comes from the sea. These can cause the healing of the wound became slow.Types of research: This is the analytical observation research with the cross sectional design and accidental sampling with the respondent of 35 people. Questionnaires and observation were used as an assessment tool and the data were analyzed with univariat and bivariat.Result: The result of the research was acquired to the level of knowledge that said healing were 23 (65,7%) did not heal 12 (34,3%). While in early mobilization which said healing were 23 (63,7%), with no early mobilization were 12 (34,3%), Conclusion: The statistical result showed that there were significant relationship between the level of knowledge and early mobilization with the healing of Sectio Caesarea wound.Suggestion: Hospitalare expected to be able to identify, plan, and implement better early mobilization in order to nhelp accelerate the healing of wounds section caesarea.
