Exam questions are similar to HW questions

• HW exercises are key (just like the test)– In reviewing exercises, try to understand why each answer is

correct– More importantly, try to understand why some answers are

incorrect, and why some good answers are better than others. – Just getting the right “answer” is not sufficient

• 90% of the success comes in setting up the problem…begin each problem carefully

• Resources on Canvas (Discussion Threads): Study guide, HW Keys, Additional Practice questions

• Resources on the Calendar: All lecture slides and HW listing

• And don’t forget your excellent textbook!

Benediction to students

• May you be as fortunate as I

• To have teachers with special knowledge

• Who are generous enough to share their true wisdom

• And may you be ready to receive this wisdom

• For when the pupil is ready

• The teacher will appear
