REQUIREMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERS (EXECUTIVE AND NON-

EXECUTIVE) ON THREE YEARS CONTRACT BASIS FOR DMRC KOCHI

PROJECT.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), a joint venture company with equity

participation from Govt. of India and Govt. of National Capital Territory of Delhi has

been entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of the Rail based Mass Rapid

transit System for Delhi.

Applications are invited from dynamic, experienced and motivated Civil

Engineers, for its Kochi Metro Project to be executed by DMRC. The appointment shallbe for 3 years on contract basis in regular pay scales along with medical and LTC

facilities.

Qualification:

BE/B.Tech/Equivalent in Civil Engineering Discipline with 1st

Division for

the post of Assistant Engineer and 3 years diploma with 60% marks in Civil

Engineering Discipline for the post of Junior Engineer. For Junior Engineer

knowledge of local language (i.e. Malayalam) both spoken and written is

mandatory.

The number of vacancies shown above is tentative and may undergo a change.

Mode of Selection: A. Based on the number of applications received the managementreserves the right to hold-

The schedule will be put up on our website on or before 16/03/12. We intend calling

about 05 times the number of candidates for interview than the number of vacancies

based on the experience or percentage of overall marks in degree/diploma level

examinations. The interview will be held at Kochi tentatively during last week of

March. No separate communications by post will be sent to candidates individually.

The Candidates are required to go through the instructions for interview displayed on ourwebsite and appear for the interview accordingly along with original copies of

testimonials.

Fees: Eligible and interested candidates applying on contract basis may apply as per the

application format at Annexure-I enclosing a non-refundable crossed Demand Draft for

Rs.100/- for General & OBC candidates and for Rs.50/- for SC & ST candidates (forprocessing cost only) drawn in favour of DELHI METRO RAIL CORPORATION

LIMITED, payable at New Delhi indicating on the reverse of the DD, their name &

address, telephone no. if any. The Demand Drafts payable at locations other than Delhi /

New Delhi will not be accepted. The MO/PO or any other mode of payment is notacceptable. Candidates are advised to check the details of Demand Draft carefullybefore enclosing it with the application Form. Candidates should retain a photocopy of

their demand draft and application form for future reference. They should also keepsufficient numbers of copies of the same Photograph in reserve for future use, which they

are using in the application form. The photograph should not be more than three months

old. Incomplete applications or applications received without demand draft or receivedafter the due date will be summarily rejected. DMRC will not be responsible for any

postal delay/ loss in transit. No request in this regard will be entertained

Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Delhi.

Selected candidates on 3 years contract basis will have to execute a bond of Rupees One

Lakh Fifty Thousand for Assistant Engineer and Seventy Five Thousand for Jr. Engineer

before joining the service in DMRC for a period of 3 years and will be required to givenotice of 3 months if they want to leave DMRC prematurely.
