EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

MRF Limited is the most reputed tyre manufacturer in India. MRF is the first Indian Company to complete in the international tyre industry. The rich heritage prompted me to choose this company for my study.

The researcher’s objective of the project is to study the impact of Quality of work life on Absenteeism of Employees at MRF Limited, Kottayam ie., whether Quality of work life has an effect on absenteeism. To prove this objective, the researcher used Regression Analysis to prove that there is a significant relationship between quality of work life and Absenteeism. But the findings showed that it in a very small proportion. The Researcher concludes that absenteeism is due to Quality of work life albeit in small proportion and there are some other factors which leads to absenteeism.

The sampling area is MRF Limited; located Vadavathoor at Kottayam. The researcher collected the required information from two sources namely data and secondary data Convenience sampling was used for selecting the sample.
