Cuplurile indicate n tabelele de selectare sunt cupluri de ieire referitoare la dimensiunea considerat i puterile se refer la1440 min-1.Garniturile de intrare montate n Viton pentru acionri cu motoare cu 2 poli sau motoare c.c. cu 3000 min-1sau n Siliconepentru aplicaii la temperaturi joase.Reductoarele sunt expediate deja umplute cu lubrifiant sintetic de lung durat(fr capace), n cantitile indicate lapag. 9i valabile pentru orice poziie de funcionare.Valorile din tabelele de selectare sunt considerate pentru un factor de serviciu FS1.0, adic cu funcionare de8-10 ore pe zi, cu gabarit uniform, porniri mai puin de 6 pe ora la temperatura ambiental ntre 15 i35 C.
Angrrenaj melcat cu roat melcatReductooarele din seria RA-TA, compui dintr-un reductor FXA independent de un cuplu de angrenaje montat pe un reductorstandard de tipul FRS sau FRT, furnizeaz un mai mare cuplu de ieire i un randament mai nalt dect rapoartele echivalentede tipul RS-RT.

Angrenaj melc dublu stadiu
Reductoarele din seria RS/RS sau RT/RT sunt compui din doi reductori din seria RS sau RT i furnizeaz o ampl opiunede raporturi nalte de completare a seriei RA-TA pentru a obine rotaii la cele mai joase viteze.
Arbore de ieireToate tipurile de reductoare sunt n mod normal fabricate cu arbore de ieire tubular iar, la cerere, arborele uor proeminentn oel C43 poate fi furnizat simplu AS sau dubluAD. La cerere este disponibil o protecie de siguranASC a extremitiicare este utilizat la arboreleAS.
Braul de reaciuneReductoarele standard, n mod normal, sunt disponibile cu capace pe ambele laturi care permit fixarea braului de reaciunecand acetia trebuie s funcioneze ca reductoare. Braul de reaciune BR-BT sauBRV-BTV (cu buc antivibraie n Vulkollan)este fabricat n tabl de mare grosime i zincat alb.
Directiva ATEXReductoarele VARVEL-ATEX, disponibile la cerere , sunt proiectate i fabricate n conformitate cu Directiva 94/9/CE ATEX i sunt, prinurmare, corespunztoare instalrii lor n locuri cu potenial exploziv : Zone din Grupul II, Categoria 2 (sau 3), Pericol de explozie n prezena de Gaz (Zona 1 sau2),
Reductoarele VARVEL-ATEX sunt identificate prin marca:

Acionnd contrariu unui reductor melcat, cu roat ca organ motor, randamentul este inferior fa de cel acionat cuurubul motor i acionnd asupra datelor de proiect, randamentul poate fi redus la zero obinnd ireversibilitateaangrenrii.
n aceast acionare n sens contrariu, frecarea intern tinde s blocheze angrenarea i cu ct este mai mare cuplulaplicat la roata motric, cu att mai mult frecarea se intensific proporional obstaculnd rotaia .
Exemplul cel mai firesc este dat de frnarea sau reducerea sarcinii prin inerie, unde cuplul extern va aciona n senscontrariu angrenajului.
Un redactor cu angrenaj melcat este considerat ireversibil atunci cnd unghiul elicei este inferior unghiului frecrii (arcultangent al coeficientului de frecare)
Contactul cu roata dinat este dinamic chiar i atunci cnd viteza angrenrii este zero, deoarece vibraiile asupraangrenajului care nu se rotete pot da natere micrii n zona de contact.
Se recomand ca factor de siguran alegerea unui unghi de elice de 3 ca o condiie de maxim ireversibilitate i de 10, ca i condiie de minim ireversibilitate, conform tabelei raporturilor dintre unghiul elicei i ireversibilitatea static .
