heart of Golden Square

12 Golden Square has been comprehensively reconstructed to a cutting edge design by award winning architects TateHindle. Taking advantage of its prominent position overlooking one of the West End’s historic garden squares, this impressive office building

combines character and class to create an exciting working environment for today’s discerning business occupiers.

G R A N D E U R

Externally, the reconstruction includes an enhanced Portland Stone façade, enlarged windows and a striking

double-height glazed corner entrance. The ground and lower ground floors can be occupied on a self-contained basis.

“This area combines all that is great about the energy and diversity of London. Nestled within the creative hub of Soho,

Golden Square provides a welcome retreat from the traffic, crowds and shops of Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus.”

Cecconi’s is something of an institution in this corner of the capital. Its thoroughly modern take on Italian cuisine attracts everyone from royalty and celebrities through to gentlemen fresh from

a Savile Row fitting and exhibition-goers visiting the nearby Royal Academy.

The new double-height reception area has been designed to create a memorable arrival experience. Offering generous space and light, it features contemporary finishes throughout.

Adding a burst of colour to the reception area and accentuating the sense of space is a newly commissioned piece of art entitled “Quadratic Colours”. Hidden among the many coloured ‘bricks’ that make up this vibrant landscape is a single golden square.

After cutting his teeth at the Ivy, Mark Hix struck out on his own and chose Brewer Street for his West End outpost. Perfectly positioned

between the creatives of Soho and the hedge fund managers of Mayfair, the restaurant is going

from strength to strength.

“We believe Golden Square to be the best square in the locale, and a lot of the people

dining with us work in and around it. It’s a pocket of classiness in vibrant

and creative Soho.”

20 Sherwood Street, London W1F 7ED

These rectangular floor plates are presented in full open plan, offering the flexibility for open or cellular working.

Large windows, including floor-to-ceiling glazing, look onto the square and flood the space with natural light.

“To have a tree-filled space in the centre of London is very special. When you think about it, London is just a series of villages

and we locals use it as such, so we created a space where everyone is included.”

flagship gallery in Kingly Street, she created a new Soho destination for London’s art

glitterati and international investors alike.

“Soho is the perfect backdrop to challenge people’s perceptions of health and fitness –

to make it exciting but elegant. We have always been a market leader

and remain the benchmark other clubs aspire to emulate.”

“Every day I am surprised by the energy of the area. The staff and I are

spoilt for choice when it comes to shopping, dining and socialising. We love working and

playing in the heart of Soho as it delivers something special on every street.”

20 Glasshouse Street, London W1B 5AR

The new reception area sets the tone for the entire building with its contemporary, styling including large format

Solus ceramic tiles, bespoke Corian reception desk and specially commissioned artwork inspired by the Rubik’s Cube.

The office space follows the theme with a sleek, minimalist ceiling incorporating recessed strip LED light fittings.

Designed by renowned architects TateHindle, the building has a gleaming new Portland Stone façade

incorporating anodized bronze windows and double-height entrance door, giving it real prominence on the square.

The property has been comprehensively upgraded to the highest standard throughout, from the new cycle and changing facilities in the basement to the remodelled penthouse sixth floor.

“We’ve been on Golden Square for 21 years and I have been here for 17.

We have noticed the invasion of the ‘suit’ in this part of Soho – it’s brought with it a

more eclectic mix of restaurants and retailers, but it has never lost its creative soul.”

25 Great Pulteney Street, London W1F 9LT

“When we first started looking for our new London headquarters, our search

focused on Mayfair and St James’s, but this part of Soho offered something

different in terms of location and the style of offices.”
