ePortal Account Access for External Users

External users (non-DFAS) can self-register for an ePortal account through the web. They will need to have a Department of Defense CAC to self-register. After self-registration, it can take up to a week to be approved and receive ePortal access.

ePortal Account Access for External Users

New users will be automatically directed to the Welcome Page to complete the ePortal account request form. From here, select the “Register for ePortal Account” link.

Information in this section is pulled from the user’s CAC and can not be edited, but verify that it is correct. If it is not correct, send a digitally signed eMail with a screenshot to [email protected].

This section is populated by the requestor and can be modified by clicking on the Edit button.

ePortal Account Access for External Users

After submitting the request, they will see a Confirmation Page.

This page will show all of the information submitted with the request along with a note explaining the next steps.

Be sure to make a copy of this screen for your records.

Click CTRL+A and then CTRL+C to select and copy.

Click CTRL+V to paste it into a new Word document.
