STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES FOR :

- Sewing of Strap

REQUIREMENTS :

l. Photocopy of every style A/D for Sewing of Strap & loop sewing operation.( Any operation which is attaching the strap to the garment.

PROCEDURES:

1. Start by comparing the bundle size with ticket & Label.

2. Check the material number, width, length, slide width according to A/D.

3. Measured the strap length, width & slide width with tape measure.

Make sure all items are correct before YOU START THE OPERATION.

4. After finished of ONE bundle, any EXECESS Strap put them back into the polybag

and return to the SUPERVISOR. Operators are NOT ALLOWED to hold or keep any

extra Strap at THE WORKPLACE.

5. Supervisor collects IMMEDIATELY ANY EXCESSIVE Strap at THE WORKPLACE of the

operator in order TO AVOID MIXING UP.

REMARK: ANY DISCREPANCY FOUND SHOULD BE RAISE UP FOR FUTHER CHECKING.

EACH AND EVERY BUNDLE MUST BE CHECK THE SAME WAY BEFORE STARTING THE OPERATION.

- Sewing of shoulder strap.

REQUIREMENTS :

l. Photocopy of every style A/D for operation of sewing shoulder strap.

II. Tape measure.

PROCEDURES:

1. Start by comparing the bundle size with sewing ticket & Label.

2. Check the material of the length, width and slide width according to A/D.

SOP for loop Sewing Operation and Strap to back

Requirement: Photo copy of A/D and shoulder strap if the strap is not included in the

bundle

• Start by checking the ticket, label compare to the A/D, measure the width and the

length of shoulderstrap, ensure that all are correct and according to the specification

• Put the pieces on top of the machine as per the correct sewing procedure and method

• Start sewing according to the instruction in the A/D of either strap to back and loop

sewing

• After completion of 40pcs, operators should check their sewing by holding 10 pcs on the

hand if there is any twisted by holding the shoulderstrap top going down to the back

cut.

• After finished one bundle any excess shoulderstrap put them back to the polybag and

return to the supervisor. Operators are not allowed to keep any excess s/s at the

workplace.

• Supervisors collect immediately any excessive s/s at the workplace of the operator in

order to avoid mixing up.

REMARK: ANY DISCREPANCY FOUND FROM A/D AND SEWING TICKET SHOULD BE RAISE UP

FOR FUTHER CHECKING. EACH AND EVERY BUNDLE MUST BE CHECK THE SAME WAY

BEFORE STARTING THE NEXT BUNDLE.

Sewing of operation:

• Make sure no twisted strap before & after attaching.

Example:

1st : Attach the strap to s/s top.

2nd: Attach the strap to back corner,

make sure to sliding the strap to avoid

twisting direction when attach.

Checking of strap after sewing:

•Put the pieces on the lap, check left side first then follow with right side, each time hold

5pcs of s/s to check there is no twisted strap.

REQUIREMENTS :

l. Photocopy of every style A/D for operation of shoulder strap sewing.

PROCEDURES:

1. Start by comparing the bundle size, style & color etc. with sewing ticket & Label.

2. Check the material of the shoulder strap, s/s width, length and slide width according to

A/D.
