The program of study:
The 30496QLD Course in Operating Loadshifting will comprise of 3 days duration. 2 daystraining with the 3rd day for assessment.
• Training Days will be split between the theory and driver training- you will be requiredto learn all areas of the Loadshifting Equipment of your choose and driving skillsneeded to pass your assessment.
• Assessment day - you will be requested to do a performance driving assessment anda theory test comprising of various amount of questions depending on the units ofcompetencies. The theory assessment can be completed oral or written.
<* Training and assessment support services:Aus Loadshifting recognizes that not all people learn in the same manner, and that with anamount of "reasonable adjustment" students who may not learn best with traditional learningand assessment methods will still achieve good results.
Reasonable adjustment may be offered to students with a disability or learning difficultyaccording to the nature of the disability or difficulty. Reasonable adjustments are-made toensure that the student is not presented with artificial barriers to demonstrating achievement inthe program of study. Reasonable adjustments may include the use of adaptive technology,educational support, and alternative methods of assessment such as oral assessment.

IN CONSIDERATION of the Organiser permitting me to participate in the training course Iagree with it as follows:
1. I UNDERSTAND that participating in any type of training or course or activity may beDANGEROUS and I voluntarily ACCEPT the risk of damage consequent upon or arising frommy entry as a student, and the use of the Organiser's facilities.
2. I WILL NOT SUE the Organisers for any negligence, tort, breach of contractual or any otherlegal or equitable rights howsoever caused, and this indemnity will extend to and include anydamage arising from my competing in training and from my use of the Organiser's facilitiesand I INDEMNIFY the Organisers in respect of the same.
3. I WILL abide by the Rules and Regulations of the Organiser's as to the training and to theuse of the Organiser's facilities and the directions of the Organiser's officials including theright to terminate or cancel my training and the use of the Organiser's facilities at any timeand for any reason.
4. THE PERSONAL INFORMATION I have supplied to the Organiser regarding myqualifications, experience and any other matter associated with the training is true andcorrect and I have READ AND UNDERSTOOD all of the clauses of this agreement beforesigning the same and before my use of the Organiser's facilities or before any competition.

"the Organiser" - ALS (any campus or organisation associated with a ALS school orcompany), ALS and any teachers, lecturers, instructors, directors, officers, managers,advisors, employees, agents, licensees, sub-contractors, subsidiaries, holding companies,associates and assignees, or any person associated with the company in any way; theCompetition venue, company in control of the venue or any company or person authorisingthe use of the competition venue, its directors, officers, managers, advisors, employees,agents, licensees, sub-contractors, subsidiaries, holding companies, associates and assigneesor any person or company associated with the company or person in any way."The Organiser's facilities" - the land and buildings associated with any training or anypart of the training, weigh-in, media conference, accommodation or training venue."use of the Organiser's facilities" - the use by the student or his attempted use of theOrganiser's facilities whether such use or access is in breach of this agreement or theOrganiser's Rules and Regulations or authorised or otherwise and whether intended to be soused or not."damage" - all loss or damage, costs or expenses, whether direct or indirect flowing fromany legal liability, claim, demand, right of action, proceedings or judgment of whatevernature and whether arising at law or in equity and whether suffered to the person orproperty of the Organiser, the Student, or any other person or corporation and whetherarising out of or consequent upon the negligence of the Organiser, the Student or otherwise."Rules and Regulations" - the Rules and Regulations are the Rules and Regulationsrelating to any Training which are available from the Organiser, and include all amendmentsor alterations to the Rules and Regulations made from time to time.
6. Deemed not yet competent: it is the applicant's responsibility to make sure they are fullyprepared to pass their assessment. ALS will provide all the necessary criteria to pass theassessment. If you feel ypu are unabl to pass thjs assessment please talk to your facilitatorprior to the day of assessment. If you are deemed not yet competent you will be charge are-assessment fee after 21 days of your last assessment.
7. Deemed Competent: It is the responsibility of the applicant on completion of a successfulassessment. Applicants must pay a WorkCover licence fee of $65.00. This needs to be atyour local post office before your interim License provided by the assessor expires within 60days of assessment.
8. Log Book: The logbook issued at time of enrolment is valid for 60 days from date of issue.An extension of 90 days will be granted, if at the time of assessment you were deemed notyet competent.
9. RPL: Some units of competencies may allow a candidate to do an assessment based onthere prior learning. If you have completed any other licences, please talk to your facilitatoror the assessor to see if you qualify for an RPL assessment.

EVIDENCE OF IDENTITY
On 1 September 2009 WorkCover revised the evidence of identity (EO1) requirements for participants attending generalinduction training under the National Coda of Practice for induction for Construction Work (National Code) in NSW.These changes supersede the EOI requirements that were introduced on 1 July 2008.
This information sheet is designed to assist course participants in meeting the requirements and in completing the newEO1 form for Registered Training Organisations (RTO) approved by WorkCover prior to delivering general induction trainingor undertaking assessment for RPL.
Effective! September 20O9 participants attending general induction training or being assessed for RPL are required toprovide 10O points EOI to a WorkCover approved Registered Training Organisation's delegate (Nominated Trainer) prior tothe training being conducted. The EOt presented is to be recorded on the WorkCover Evidence of identity form (CIC-EOII).
The acceptable documents are listed in the table below and contain both primary and secondary documents. You canprovide only one (1) primary document with secondary documents to form 100 points. Alternatively, you can provide acombination of secondary documents to form 10O points. The combination of documents must contain a date of birth,current residential address, photograph and signature. Please bring original evidence of identity documents with you.Certified copes will not be accepted.
The table below outlines the acceptable evidence of identity and points value allocated.
