Green Banks
• Coalition for Green Capital's mission is to establish green banks at the state, federal, and international levels in order to minimize greenhouse gas emissions and maximize the deployment of clean electricity and energy efficiency.
• Public or quasi-public financial institutions with the mission of leveraging public capital to encourage private investment in clean energy and energy efficiency – Usually set up at the state level through legislation – Technology agnostic – Fiscally sustainable
