It was a wonderful night for the school. On behalf of the students at Parkes East, I would like to thank the parents, friends of the school and staff for their tireless efforts in supporting our school. Good luck to our Year 6 students who are entering the next phase of their life. May we all have a safe and reinvigorating break prior to returning in late January to do more fabulous things at our school. May your week, Christmas and school holiday period be full of joy. Michael Ostler and Jessica Neilsen School concludes at 3:10pm this Friday 15 December. School resumes for students on Tuesday 30 January (Years 1-6) and Wednesday 31 January (Kindergarten). Posive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) Focus for this week is: WE ARE SAFE At school, this looks like: using all equipment safely, asking the teacher's permission before leaving the classroom, staying in bounds when in the playground, keeping our hands and feet to ourselves, walking on the concrete At home, this looks like: asking your parents to go outside and play, not answering the door to strangers, using cutlery safely, telling your parents if you are concerned FRUIT DONATION We thank Parkes Lile Athlecs Club for sharing their donated fruit. It is much enjoyed and appreciated. We would appreciate any Trash and Treasure donaons, in saleable condion, for the Village Fair. Please deliver them to the School Office.
