Foundation Preparation1.1 Clear and align the ground according to the dimensions in the drawing.

1.2 For the foundation, dig the trenches at least 1' wide and 1' deep.

1.3 Fill the trenches to ground level with concrete and let cure, or harden. Since curing times vary between brands, read the packaging for recommended curing times.

1.4 Once the concrete has cured, use standard-sized bricks and lay them across the foundation. You will need roughly 50 bricks for this step.

Framing The Floor2.1 Assemble the frame using 1 1/2” x 7 1/4” pressure-treated material. You will need two boards cut to 10’ that will be the rim joist and two boards cut to 7’-9” that will be the joists.

2.2 Using 1 1/2 “ x 7 1/4 “ pressure-treated material, cut 7 joists and install them as shown in the illustration.

2.3 Secure the beams with 3x5" wood screws. Fasten the joists to the skids with 8x3" wood screws.

2.4 Using a speed square or carpenter's square, check the corners to make sure they are 90 degrees.

Install Plywood For The Floor 3.1 Prepare the 9/16" plywood for the floor sheathing according to the drawing.

Assemble The Roof Frame8.1 Using 1 1/2 “ x 5 1/2 “ material, cut 14 rafters according to the dimensions..

8.2 Using 1 1/2 “ x 3 1/2 “ material, cut five collar ties according to the dimensions. 8.3

Install Plywood For The Roof9.1 Cut sheets of 9/16” plywood for sheathing the roof using the drawing below as a guide.

Window Installation for Left and Right WallsIt is necessary to prepare 4 windows.

10.1 Using 1 1/2 “ x 2 1/2 “ pressure-treated material, cut the outer frame for the window as shown in the drawing below. Additionally, add vertical and horizontal supports using 3/4 “ x 1 1/2 “ material and cut the recesses for the window hinges.

10.2 Prepare 1/4" wire mesh for window according to the dimensions.

10.3 Use 1 1/2 “ x 1 1/2 “ pressure-treated material to make the inner frame and secure with 3”

wood screws. Mill a recess for the glass panes and for the hinges.

10.4 Prepare and install glass into inner frame groove and fasten it by window beading from four sides. Use for this 1/2" galvanized nails.

10.5 Install hinges (4") with 3x1" wood screws and assemble the window.

Assemble and Install Coop Door11.1 Assemble the door frame using 2 1/2 “ x 1 1/2 “ pressure-treated material. Use the illustration below as a reference.

11.2 Use 1 1/2 “ x 3/4 “ pressure-treated material for the door trim and secure with 2” wood screws.

11.3 Prepare and install starter courcer from the pressure-treated lumber

with cross section 1/4" x 3/4".

11.4 Install the exterior siding of the door using 1/2 “ x 6” siding boards in accordance with the illustration below.

11.5 Assemble siding shields with 2" galvanized nails.

11.6 Install three 3" door hinges using 2x1" wood screws. Finish the door installation by attaching 4" surface bolt and 6" door pull.

Installing Corrugated Roofing12.1 You will need 120 Sq Ft of corrugated roofing to cover the roof.

12.2 Fasten the panels with 1 1/2" sheet metal screw with neoprene washer.

12.3 Prepare and install metal roof ridge cap according to the drawing.
