What a busy week! Our next Woodland is coming up next week! Information and permission slips for cutting buckthorn were sent home last week. Please let me know if you need another copy. Treat of the Week Each week, we are going to learn about one of our family classmates. Thank you to Brayden for sharing with us this week!

Mrs. Wake joined our class this week, and we continued our work with paraphrasing. This is really helpful with our work on our Personal Learning Project as well as our nonfiction reading groups.
Our Learning
Reading/Writing - In reading, we started new reading groups focusing on nonfiction. We are learning some interesting things about our topics. In writing, students are finishing All About Me writing and citizen writing.
Math - In math, we started learning about factors and multiples. Students are learning strategies to help them know the difference. Please keep practicing multiplication and division facts at home.
Social Studies - All students presented their responsible citizen projects. I am so proud of all their research and how they presented their ideas on how to be responsible citizens. Some of our projects will be featured on MBC next week.
