Anchorage Trails brand.

GATE.1 The GATE.1 Sign type is a Primary Trail ID sign and should be located at major entry points to the trail, where there is public parking available. This sign is located at

least 3 ft from the trail.

NGATE.1The NGATE.1 Sign type is a Neighborhood ID sign and should be located along the trail, when the trail enters a neighborhood.

KIOSK.1The KIOSK.1 Sign type is a large informational sign for all path users and may be located at major entry points to the trails, or in parks where the trail crosses through. This sign is located at least 3 ft from the trail and is intended for pedestrians, rather than cyclists in motion.

This sign type has room for short messages or icons, and gives quick direction. It allows for directional information on 4 sides. This sign is located at least 3 ft from the trail.

MILE.1The MILE.1 sign type is an informational sign for all pedestrian trail users and may be located at 1/4-mile increments along the trails. This sign allows a place for

emergency information.

INTERP.1 This sign type is an opportunity to provide storytelling along the trail. It can discuss history, unique natural features or promote local

culture/events.
