bit.ly – Shorten, share, and track your links http://bit.ly/ Bit.ly is a URL shortener (highly recommended tools for Twitter) which tracks click-throughs for the specific links you share. Bit.ly also has the power to track links in the aggregate; e.g., multiple Bit.ly URLs created by separate users, but all leading back to the same URL, can be tracked and reported as aggregated click-throughs. Bit.ly also tracks clicks over time, so you can see when people are clicking your links most.
