Always store cordless drills with trigger switch being blocked, i.e. forward-reverse lever set in middle position. In this way, an accidental switching on is avoided which protects the battery from severe damage.

Avoid extreme loading of your cordless drill, i.e. drilling large holes or driving large diameter screws. In such a case, better select a corded version.

Store your batteries in dry, cool place at temperature 5-15°C, without direct exposure to sunlight or any heating devices around.

At low temperature, warm the cold battery up before start using it. A fast and easy way to do it is by placing the battery in your pocket for a few minutes.
