Hi My name is Ricky Mataka Thanks for grabbing a copy of this totally unbiased report which will show you the inside and out of ONLY the things you need to succeed in CPA Marketing. See it all started 3 years ago when I met this dude Scott Rewick he was very successful Media Buyers having sold and owned multiple Networks – this guy was someone you wanted to follow. So I was lucky enough to join his mentoring program and meet him at Adtech 2010 Now before I get into this I want you to know that I have been going to Internet Marketing Events since 2002, and I have to say 2010 was the first time I went To Adtech in NYC. Now compared to all the events I went to. ADtech was like Disney World where these other events were merely local flee markets!! It was HUGE. So many vendors and BIG mainstream companies joined together to show their platforms and servers around Media Relations. I had never seen anything like that in my life! That’s when I realized I wanted to become a CPA Marketer. Buy Massive ad space and scale up just like these big guys. So from then I geared up and got my self ready to do just that. So In this report I’m going to bring to you the tools, the networks, the lead sources I collected on my journeys in hopes that it will help you travel 3 years forward from my experiences Now there is a lot of detail that can only be learned by trial and

However im gong to give you some tips in this report That I hope will help you reduce as many mistakes as possible. So with that being said are you ready?

1.WHERE DO I START? There are many options out there… Display Advertising Search Marketing PPV (Pay Per View) Interstitial Ads In Text Ads. Oh My! <- not a option… So how do you tackle these and become profitable without losing your shirt along the way? That’s the same confusion I had. So before we get into these specific type of vehicles. Scott taught me you must understand affiliate math. Please don’t over complicate this but it is very important. PPC AND CPC PPC is the RATE listed and CPC is the calculation of what you actually did pay per click. Ironically that is determined by your CTR – the better the Click Through Ratio, the better your PPC is … period. The formula to determine how to set your CPC over the l ife of your campaign is often calculated with your cost per impression (CPI) divided by click-through ratio (%CTR) But don’t worry about that too much your goal is to obtain a HIGH CTR to lower your PPC. Get it? EPC This is the calculation of what your actually EARNING per click. Display advertising networks l ike Max Bounty & Never Blue and other related organizations use EPC to rank their best offers. The formula goes l ike this >> EPC (per click) = Commission Earned/Clicks Networks l ike Max Bounty & Never Blue use: >> EPC (per 100 clicks) = (Commission Earned/Clicks) x 100

Example: If after 50 clicks you make $30 then: EPC is .60 (per click) = 30/50 EPC is $60 (per 100 clicks, what a lot of networks use) = (30/50) x 100 PPM AND CPM PPM is the RATE listed and Cost per thousand (CPM) is what your actually paying. CPM is a marketing term referring to the cost of a media vehicle reaching 1,000 members of an audience. The M in CPM is the Roman numeral for 1,000. How It Works/Example: The formula for cost per thousand (CPM) is: CPM = COST / IMPRESSIONS x 1,000 So if your paying $100 bucks and you got 5000 impressions your paying 20 bucks per 1000 impressions. If your using a CPM model to pay rather then a PPC model to pay So its important to keep watch of your EPM so your don't lose money on the campaign. EPM This is your earnings per 1000 impressions. The formula is: >> EPM (per 1000 Impressions) = (Commission Earned/Impressions) So if I earned $45 Bucks and had 1000 impressions my EPM would be 0.45c per M If your paying CPM less then 0.45 cents then your would be making profits . So that brings us to the question should I be using PPC or PPM? Well it depends. When your testing a campaign I like to use PPC so I can determine my EPC – if I have a high CTR which lowers my CPC then I may switch to a CPM model because it may actually lower my overall campaign costs. “ Ha you need to read above to understand that ” ;)

Now.. since you understand the lingo hopefully we can now start somewhere. You have a multitude of options, but we need to understand quality VS quantity in the traffic sources your pick to run your creatives. So here is a break down to help you understand the vehicles you have in front of you. SEARCH MARKETING This is by far the highest quality of lead you can get and also the most expensive to tackle. This is because unlike display advertising where your hoping for a pattern interrupt. Your lead is searching for what you have to offer directly. DISPLAY ADVERTISING This is usually a banner that displays in many areas of web real-estate. This is where you make your own creatives or you take them from the Ad Networks that usually provides them. I will l ist the preferred insider networks later in this report. The quality of lead from display advertising is much higher then say PPV in which it also costs more as well. But like search marketing your clicker expressed explicit interest in your ad creative so your conversions will be higher if your targeting correctly. IN TEXT ADS. These are the in text POPups that you see when you hover over a double underlined text link. These are a very effective way to get leads for cheap and the quality can be as good as display advertising and search marketing.

PPV (PAY PER VIEW) & INTERSTITIAL ADS Here you are aiming for quantity not as much quality is which why the traffic has a lower cost per 1 impression. Usually less then a penny. However you can waste your money really fast if your not targeting correctly – I will explain targeting in the next section. With PPV or Interstitial platforms your looking to SHOCK your viewer into taking action on your advertisement. I use this for testing my creative and then I will move them to a more quality source like Display Advertising once I have my winners. INCENTIVIZED TRAFFIC. This is where your viewer is being paid 30 to 60 seconds to view your advertisement. The quality here is low and the quantity is cheap but it is another good vehicle to test your creative is which I use it for. --- Now before I close on this I want you to know that it all starts with Targeting and Testing, before you can scale up profitably. So you MUST be prepared to do so as well as spend some money along the way, which you will most likely lose. But if your losing money the smart way, then you will gain it back 3 fold. So lets cover targeting then well get into testing and tracking. Ok?

2. TARGETING If your not targeting and testing your losing money. There is no hope it works type of mentality here and that’s is why only 5% will succeed with Media Buying. So how do we target correctly? And then how do we test fast so we can find our winners? First it starts with a Traffic Source (website). There is a debate here on whether you should start with a winning offer first, rather then a Traffic Site. But to do that successfully you will need competitive intelligence tool which I will l ist the one I use later in the report. So lets assume you don’t have a tool like that, and you just want to start making money as quickly as possible. Then this is what you do. First you need to pick a type of traffic based on the above section. For this example were going to use DISPLAY ADVERTISING. So your going to need banners for this method to work!

1) First pick a traffic network to start with like SiteScout.com, MyAds.com, Adbrite.com just to name a few. Here you find what sites they offer you to run your creatives (banners) on. Your goal is to find a high trafficked site and then research the audience demographics quickly, this way you can find out who is your ideal clickers!

2) So once you find your site you want to advertise on (depending on your niche selection) you will need to head over to quantcast.com. There you will enter the site URL and you will get a wealth of information that pertaining to the site overall audience. Take notice of the upstream and downstream sites as well and do as much research as

possible. This will give you the idea of what offers you should be running ON this type of traffic. For instance. Say I was going to run an advertisement on http://www.forbes.com/ I would head over to quantcast.com and check out the demographics and the upstream (Audience Also Likes) as shown in this figure.

From here I can tell what audience exists on this site and that will give me a winning chance to make a ton of money with the right offer. So now we got to find the right offer. So that brings us to #4

3) Offervault.com is an aggregator of many networks bringing you the freshest ads and creative you can run across many different ad networks. Since your know your ideal audience by now its time to find some offers that pertain to that audience. So for out example, we know forbes.com predominant visitor is male age 55+ we also know they have an average salary of 150K+

Then we looked at the type of related sites they visit and know they are investment and business related So would you run a lose weight campaign here? While some will try, that probably would not be your best option here. I would search for investment and business related type of offers. This is why we use offer vault to quickly find our offers and join the networks so we can get paid!!

4) Now its time to get run your offer. You have 2 options here and it will determine how you go about running your campaign

a. Option 1 Direct Linking is where you will run your creative and send the clicker right to the offer, which is the quickest way to find out your EPC and make money. However the lifetime value (LTV) of that lead expires right there. This is by far the less work option and may be good for you starting off.

b. Optin 2 Lead Capture, this is a little more complex as it requires landing page creation and more components split testing but is way more profitable then Option 1 since the LTV is more long term as you can keep marketing to that lead. This is the option I go with because I can test my landers and squeeze pages and still send them To the offer right after. Ninja Tip: Have your Auto Responder ready with at least a 7 day follow up on the niche offer so this becomes auto pilot

5) Now it time to get out there and do it. Based on the self service traffic platform you choose, you just need to follow their process to get your campaign up and going.

Like I said, this will take some trial and error and there is way too much other detail then I can get into in this report. But if your direct linking, then you can usually find already done creative inside a network like Max Bounty or Click Booth that you can run immediately. If your going with Option 2. Then it would be good idea to create your own banner variations that lead to your landing pages. * Its important to note that with, PPV and inTextual Marketing (Google Display Network) you don’t need banners.. . so you can just focus on your squeeze and landing pages. If your going to create your own banners You can outsource it or do it yourself. If you outsource the 'warriors for hire' section of the warriorforum yields tons of cheap talented designers that can do this in 5 mins. Gimp or Paint to get the job done. The banner sizes to stick to are – 200 x 200 – 250 x 250 – 300 x 250 – 150 x 600 – 728 x 90 – 468 x 60 I find that 300x250 banners ROCK as well as 468 x 60 I never had to much success with the others but I wanted list them here anyway. Now if your real serious about Display Advertising then you need to check out Jon Shugart Keyword RockStar http://www.rockstarpowersuite.com/ This is the ultimate Media Buyers tool. I bought this back in 2011 for 997. But I know he just released a version that is much cheaper. So go swipe that up ! You can create banners like clock work here! Either way to play with display advertising you need to have patience and you need to create banners. However once you see the money rolling in, that will not bother you as much. Now its time to TEST and TRACK which brings me to the next sections

3. TESTING So by now we found a self serve traffic platform we want to run our campaigns with. We found a site that we want to run our ads on. And we researched the Audience profile so we know what offer we want to serve. So now its time to test and track! Always be split testing, weather you create your own landing pages or direct link to offers. Test your ad creative Don’t just SET and Forget. Unless you want to waste money. ** Also make sure that you set a spending cap and daily run time for your campaigns. Don’t let this run forever. While testing you may want to have it run at least 3 to 5 days, just so you get enough data to make some calculated decisions. During testing your going to lose money period. Some times you may strike it on the first hit. . but that’s rare. So set aside 100 @ 20 a day just to get data in. The data will tell you your campaigns affiliate math and that will determine weather it’s a flunk or you can scale it up. The Headline and CTA (call to action) are the most important elements of any creative. Make sure you create a few variations for each campaign so you can quickly find the winners. This goes for your banner units, your text units and your landing pages. Your goal here is to start with 3 to 5 variations and find your winners very quickly. Once you find your winners you will scale it up to profitability. Now Display advertising will be expensive to test with so lucky for you I have some options you can test on J

They even have a section called Click Grid were you can get up to 16,500+ views in the next 30 days for $17!!! Keep in mind tho this traffic is Bizzopp, so MLM, general interest, surveys, credit, find employment etc.. However we all have the same type of psychological traits When it comes to reacting to headlines and emptions so you can test your landers here. Option 2

http://www.projectwonderful.com/ This website is awesome, it's full of highly trafficked websites that get hundreds of thousands, even millions of page views that you can bid on. You bid to have your ad run on the site for an entire day for as little as $5! The $25 pillar is just a cushion. Yet another great place to test!!

4. TRACKING Ok now your saying.. . How do I track this stuff here? It depends on your budget. There I will give you the options here for novice to professional. NOVICE TO INTERMEDIATE 1) http://tracking202.com/home This is a self hosted tool you install on your own server but I must warn you has a bit of a learning curve. But its Free! 2) http://www.linktrackr.com/ This is a nifty tool which allows you to, cloak, rotate and track realtime data on your campaign URLS. This will cost you 39 dollars a month. 3) http://budurl.pro/ This is the same type of tool as link tracker will cost you as little as 24 bucks a month. INTERMEDIATE TO PROFESSIONAL 1) CPVLabs This by far is my most favorite tracker. Yes it was made for PPV specifically but you can expand on it for many other things. It can Split Test, your landers, give you automatic affiliate math and using this tool you will learn whats working and what’s not working

This is a screen shot showing how I used the split testing feature to test inside a highly profitable Bizzopp funnel. The affiliate math here is BAR NONE the best I have come across yet. Now mind you this is a self hosted script you install on your own server and will cost you $297 dollars. 2) http://www.adtrackzgold.com/ I have never used this personally but I here great things about it from Charles Kirkland and it will only cost you about 97 bucks. 3) http://www.adshuffle.com/ This is a Media Server Platform. You will pay per impressions not monthly. I must warn you tho this has a heck of a learning curve but is the Professional Media Buyers choice when serving ad creatives. Mike Colella who is a predominate Media buyer put me on to this platform and I’m passing it down to you J Now if I were you, I would start with AdTrackzGold and CPV Labs. Its worth the investment. But if you want to dibble and dabble a bit. Then I would start with LinkTrakr or Bud URL.

Lead Impact http://www.leadimpact.com This is a great PPV network and you can get impressions for less them a penny, they have a really good traffic network and I have had a lot of success with them staying inside the main stream type of offers.

STARTING AT 100 BUCKS Zedo Ad Network http://www.zedoadnetwork.com/ For a minimum of just $100 to start. You can have your banner on some of the biggest, most reputable sites on the internet. When you visit the homepage there is a animated bar in the footer that shows all the big name sites in this network that you can access. And, these sites generate a ton of high quality traffic.

And, you don't have to do anything aside from have a squeezepage to send traffic too. I know the owner of this network, so let me know if you need help STARTING AT 500 BUCKS Sitescout http://www.sitescout.com Sitescout is awesome it has a real time bidding platform and youcan get some really big quality traffic for cheap! The only downside it it has a 500 dollar minimum to start with. Nextmark http://lists.nextmark.com/ My absolute favorite place for anything traffic. This is where BIG BIG earnings happen in a week! All you do is type in a keyword relevant to what you're promoting and then click the big red 'search 60,000 mailing lists' button.
