As we begin a new school year, the thought on everyone’s mind is how to make 2016-2017 even more interactive, educational, and engaging for students than last year.

Here are ten iOS apps that all teachers can use to support inquiry-based learning in their classrooms.

makes it easy for students to save their work when done.

students could use to create their own video tutorials and explanatory guides. The app is easy to use and offers a host of features that make creating and

sharing learning experiences fun.

Book Creator Book Creator is one of the best apps students can use to create next- generation PDFs and comics. It is versatile enough to be used in any

content area and students can extend their creativity by app-smashing and creating images with other apps.

Lino Lino can be used when researching alone or in groups and for sharing

files, videos and pictures quickly from one computer to another. Students can also write tasks for each member of their inquiry group

on a sticky, so that everyone has a responsibility.

Stoodle Stoodle , an online white board service, enables students and teachers to

quickly create and work on a collaborative whiteboard space. The app allows you to write, draw and upload images. It also enables you to connect it with your device’s microphone and talk to the people you

collaborate with.

Plain Text A simple text editor with an uncomplicated, paper-like user

interface. Biggest feature is the ability to create and organize documents in folders and then sync everything with Dropbox from

within the app.
