Full time employees in 2010,this is down from a high of
6,042 in 2006. For FY2012, it is projected that the City work-force will be reduced by over 1,000 employees since 2006.The City merged departments and functions to create an effi-cient smaller government. As positions continue to be elimi-nated, the City will look to our excellent employees, customer service and technology improvements, volunteers, and anincreased focus on performance and accountability to continuedelivering quality services with fewer staff.
