Your driver will pick you up directly at your cruise ship for this unique

tour of Florence. You will thoroughly enjoy the famed view of the Tuscan

countryside on your way to the city known as the cradle of the Renaissance.

Upon entering the city, you will briefly stop at Piazzale Michelangelo, from

where you’ll enjoy breathtaking views that offer a unique overview of your tour.

We’ll then make our way to the city centre, where you will meet your guide

who will take you on a walking tour of Florence which will include the exte-

riors of Palazzo Strozzi, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria,

Brunelleschi’s Dome, Ghiberti’s Gates of Paradise, and numerous other sites.

After lunch at a selected trattoria, you will tour the world-famous Uffizi

Gallery where your guide will focus on the world-famous masterpieces

by artists such as Giotto, Botticelli, Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raffaello, Tiziano,

Caravaggio, we’ll concentrate on Art from the Renaissance period so you can

appreciate Florence’s role in the Renaissance movement that changed the

world forever. Alternatively, your guide will take you to Accademia Gallery

to admire Michelangelo’s Prisoners and the original sculpture of the David.

After a glass of prosecco on the museum’s terrace overlooking the Piazza

della Signoria your driver will take you back to the Livorno port where

your ship awaits you.

time. Please note that the journey between the

port of Livorno and the tour’s highlights is 1.5

hours each way.

• This tour is not fully accessible for wheelchair

users or people with walking disabilities.

be able to take you on alternative routes suitable

for you.

• There is a dress code for churches and basili-

cas. Shoulders and knees must be covered;

shorts, miniskirts and sleeveless shirts are not

permitted. It is recommended that you not take

large bags or backpacks on tours that include

churches as storage accommodations are not

always available.
