The total plot area of the unit is 780 sq. mtr. The green belt area will be 111 sq.mtr.

1.3 FUEL CONSUMPTION

As per CCA

As per CCA, the unit is using 100 Nm3/Day of Natural Gas for IBR boiler.

Proposed scenario

The unit has proposed one Natural Gas or LDO/FO based boiler of 1 TPH, Natural Gas or

LDO/FO based TFH 2, 50,000 Lack K Cal and one D.G set of 100 KVA. Natural Gas & LDO/FO

consumption for proposed boiler will be 33NM3/hr & 25 lit/hr respectively. Natural Gas

consumption for proposed Thermic Fluid Heater will be 33 NM3/Hr.

1.4 ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION

The unit have electricity from Daxin Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. The existing electricity

consumption is 45 KVA. Proposed electricity consumption is 35 KVA. After expansion total

electricity consumption will be 80 KVA.

1.5 WATER CONSUMPTION

As per CCA

The source of water is GIDC water supply system. As per consent, the unit is using 1.5 KLD total

freshwater. The water consumption for industrial purpose is 1 KL/day. The water consumption for

the domestic purpose is 0.5 KL/day.

Proposed Scenario

The total water consumption after expansion, the unit will use total 25 KLD (22 KLD Fresh Water

& 3 KLD Recycled) for Industrial Purpose. For domestic & gardening purpose unit will use 2

KLD fresh water.

A detail of water consumption & water balance diagram is attached as Annexure – 7.

1.6 WASTE WATER GENERATION, TREATMENT & DISPOSAL

As per CCA

As per CCA, the industrial waste water generation is NIL and Domestic waste water is 0.4 KLD.

The domestic effluent is disposed off through soak pit/septic tank.

Page 3: 1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARYenvironmentclearance.nic.in/writereaddata/Online/TOR/25...Balasaheb Kadlag 30, Akash Villas Co operative Housing Society, Nr. GIL Colony, Ankleshwar GIDC, Ankleshwar

M/S. KALYANI CORPORATION, PANOLI.

M/s. Jyoti Om Chemical Research Centre Pvt Ltd 3

Proposed scenario

Due to proposed expansion, total industrial effluent generation will be 4 KLD. Due to proposed

expansion, additional sewage generation will be 1 KLD.

Proposed effluent is treated in unit’s own ETP. The ETP treated water 4 KL/Day will be reused/

recycled in process. Domestic effluent 1 KLD will be disposed through septic tank/ soak pit.

1.7 GASEOUS EMISSION

As per consent

As per CCA, the unit has one Boiler stack. Process stack is attached to Process Reactor to scrub

Proposed scenario

Now, the unit has proposed one boiler of 1TPH, one Thermic Fluid Heater of 2, 50,000 Lack K

Cal and a D.G set of 100 KVA. Thus there will be proposed one boiler stack having height 30 m,

one boiler stack having height of 11.5 meter and two D.G sets stack having height 11 m.

For proposed expansion, there will be each stack attached to Fluid Bed Dryer, Tray Dryer &

Reactor. To control the process emission, i.e. PM, H2S, VOC, Cl2 & HCL, unit has installed Bag

Filter, Water Scrubber, Charcoal Tower & Caustic Scrubber respectively.

1.8 HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT

As per consent

As per CCA, there will be generation of Discarded bags/liners (2.000 MT/Year).

Proposed scenario

After proposed expansion, details of total quantity of hazardous waste generation are covered here.

There will be generation of Discarded bags/liners (4 MT/Year), Used Oil (0.2 MT/Year), Process

ETP Sludge (12 MT/Year).

ETP waste/sludge will be disposed to TSDF site. Used oil will be sent to registered recyclers.

Discarded containers/Bags/Liners will be sale to authorized recycle.
